SidewindeR, 19 Jan 2011Hi friends I'm going to post a quick review and comparison between my two favorite earphones i... moreExcellent review, mate. Superb!!! Especially the comparison table with stars. That clears every confusion in my mind about their differences. Thanks for keeping my request.
I have recently discussed about 9700 vs wh205 with utk(by phone) and he did tell me that 205 has a bit more bass than his 9700. I recently got to use a friend's wh205 free with nokia 5530 and I have to say that the bass is extreme. Treble is certainly low. And because of your review, I now can imagine the quality of the 9700 and 9800 much better (by compairing with my experience with wh205). I will definately save this page.....
rony, 19 Jan 2011hey guys please help me. if i compare nok5233 with sam corby s3650 for their display & to... moreApart from looks, nothing on Corby matches the features of Nokia 5233. A touchscreen interface is the only thing common to both phones. 5233 is a smartphone with smart features and hardware to go with it while corby is just another feature phone with a touch UI. Go for 5233 with confidence. I'm sure you won't regret it.
Hi friends I'm going to post a quick review and comparison between my two favorite earphones i.e. the philips she9800 and she9700.
9700 is the cheaper of the two and cost me 1500INR while 9800 is slightly expensive and cost me 2500INR.
Both are very good and compares to the best in class earphones from sony and sennheiser.
9700 is a typical inear earphone with angled acoustic channel for a perfect fit
9800 has a larger driver and is more of a hybrid design. Looks like a typical earbud earphone but with a inear acoustic channel for better noise isolation.
Both sound very good. 9800 is more of a balanced sounding earphones with great dynamic range and sounds equally good on both the high and low frequency ranges. It suits every kind of music and is balanced overall with no weaknesses in frequency response.
9700 has a bit more bass or punch to it's sound signature. it also offers a better isolation than 9800 and has a tad bit more audio output.
The built quality is obviously better in 9800. It has a solid construction with metal alloy plugs and alloy casing for the earbuds. It is built to last. Mine is almost a year old but still going strong. Here is my rating on sound quality and to give you a better perspective, i've included Nokia WH-702/205 as well. All my ratings are out of a total of 5 stars
My conclusion is if you want lots of bass and don't really care much about pure audio quality, then WH-205/702 suits you well. It also costs less
If you want absolute audio quality with balanced sound and a bigger soundstage, 9800 is definitely the best choice. Even the senheiser cx300 is no match for it's quality and listening pleasure that I guarantee.
For everything else 9700 seems to be the best choice. It costs lesser than a CX300 while sounding good or even better (can't say about the CX300ii though)
hey guys please help me. if i compare nok5233
with sam corby s3650 for their display & touch quality-then which of them is best? pleeeeeeeeease give a suggesion yaar.
KRIGNaL, 19 Jan 2011pls hlp me 2 choose in btween NOKIA 5233, SE X8, hTC smart. which one is good!Well mate.. all the three phones you've mentioned has their own set of pros and cons. In addition, the latter two costs more than double the price of a 5233. It all comes down to what you want from a cell phone. 5233 has all the basics covered for a smartphone. It is more of an entertainment centric smartphone with a bigger hi res display and pretty good audio quality. The battery backup is also better on 5233 as android phones are pretty notorious for their low battery backup.
First prioritize your needs and select a phone with features that suits you best. This way you won't have to regret later. 5233 is basically an extension of Nokia's symbian smartphones with a user friendly touch interface. So anyone who is used to Nokia phones will find it quite easy to use the full touch interface.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2011one genuine advice to nokia....
stop giving your most crap headphone named wh-102 with good... moreWell me thinks it's the only way Nokia can bring down the price of the handsets though I wouldn't agree with Nokia providing it with more expensive phones. Most folks don't seem to care about the quality of the headset provided but for those ppl like you and me who crave for more quality we're better off buying a good pair of earphones that suit our taste rather than be content with the stock one's.
With my Philips SHE9800, to me it couldn't sound any better. The audio quality is that good. Anyway it would have been nice if Nokia could bundle WH-205 headset with it's low end models like 5233.
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2011What is this bulshit java run time ?i installed one from mobile 9. I thought it will increase ... moreMate it's a beta release so can't really blame the developers though. Anyway I mad the same mistake once and that really slowed down my phone. Had to uninstall it right away to recover all my installed games and java apps.
Anonymous, 19 Jan 2011What is this bulshit java run time ?i installed one from mobile 9. I thought it will increase ... moreask tough question in dailymobile forums . They answered my question about python app.
one genuine advice to nokia....
stop giving your most crap headphone named wh-102 with good phones as soon as possible.
if you continue giving this crap with 2690 & even with c-7 then the day is not far away people will start throwing thier phones into water.
4 years ago you have thrown defective bl-5c batteries into dustbin & it saved you from disaster.
now its time again to throw away all wh-102 into arabian sea. better be quick than later be sorry.
if any nokia guy is reading this post, take it seriously as a common opinion of millions of nokia fans & users.
