class 32 also has 5+3=8slots . So multiplying with that number makes the speed of them equal !!!

Class32 EDGE supports a maximum download speed of 296kbps while 238 is the maximum speed supported by Class12 EDGE. If the network supports Class32 EDGE speeds like Airtel and most other networks, the higher download speed and the increased time slots give Class32 phones a slight improvement in actual download speeds when compared to Class12 phones over the same network.

brijesh, 12 Jan 2011hi, sb! i want to know that when we download and lnstall a sw update from nokia, which memory ... more1. Software update downloaded from nokia are first stored into the phone memory. Then, after installation, it replaces the necessary files (mostly applications) present in C drive itself. This type of update are usually called minor updates. But in case of major update, you will need nokia software updater (pc). This time the rom files are changed.
2. Usually the C drive is mostly less than 256Mb or 340Mb(maybe) and not more. So, even if the phone has 8gb internal memory, the C drive will only be of around 256Mb. The remaining memory acts as a memory card (i.e a separate drive). After that, if you put an external microsd card then you will have 3 drives. So, even if you go for C7, the C drive will have same memory as that of C6-01.
In my opinion, you should go for C6-01 as it has nokia's Clear Black technology(the best screen in todays standards, omiting the resolution factor). Also, C6-01 has got class 33 gprs and edge.
There isn't going to be any symbian 4. Its official statement. But the UI will be customised and modified through the updates (just like android). So, your device will keep changing its style with time. So, go for C6-01. Good luck!
