dop it lowwwwwwwwww, 16 Nov 2010So i can't use Nokia AC-8U charger? How about Nokia AC-5U charger? I just want to charge... moreLol...you are already using a high efficiency charger AC-8N with anoutput of 890mA. AC-8U has the same output rating. AC-5U is anolder model and probably has a lower output(specs are notavailable). AC-5X has 800mA output. Do you have any confirmedsources that claim AC-5U can charge the 1320mAh battery of 5233under 1 hr. The most powerful nokia charger i could find is the AC-10U, but it's for phones that support micro usb charging.

On topic: yes, that thing is awesome. Specialy the 16X zoom, handy when viewing 10-12MP files. Yes 10MP works well.

Guys... a few posts back an Anonymous guy mentioned about a photo viewing app Resco Photo viewer. I'm already using LCG photobook for viewing pics as an alternative to the disastrous phone gallery. So out of curiosity I downloaded a hacked version from mobile9. At first the Photo browser and UI seemed kind of boring and outdated. But to my surprise, the functionality is just second to none and once I did a bit of tweaking with the settings a bit, i finally had it tailored to my liking. I'm just gonna highlight some of the key features that i found interesting
-The UI is simple but it can be changed and customised according to our liking. Got list view or grid view with thumbnail preview that can be enabled or disabled.
-All the functionality of the builtin photo gallery but with exceptionally higher speed and performance.
-Smoother scrolling with zooming levels upto 1600x.
-Volume rockers can be configured as zoom buttons or prev or next button.
-Single tap on menu for selection instead of the annoying double tap.
-File association for different image formats so that the app can be replaced with the builtin photo viewer when viewing pics from file manager.
-Simple tweaking tools like contrast, colour, brightnes adjustments, crop, resize, rotate etc all of which can be accessed from the same interface without having to goto a different scree or application.
-Zooming and panning is much much faster than the builtin gallery and much better than photobook as the latter has a limited zoom level.
-Multiple file selection where the photos can be marked easily by marking the thumbnail rather than going through the menu each time.
-It also acts as a file manager where new folders can be created and files can be copied or moved in batches.
-Supports sending files via BT, MMS or Uploads
-Tried upto pic sizes of 3.2MP and everything is so smooth like butter. Very less loading time and almost no lags
-Slideshow with cool transition effects and custom background music.
All in all totally happy with it's performance and thanks a lot to that anonymous guy for sharing info on such a good application. It can totally substitute the crappy gallery. i suggest everyone here try it as well. I guess anyone who is not satisfied with the builtin gallery will very well appreciate it.
rafh26, 16 Nov 2010actually pal.. requesting gprs settings is manualy requesting through the service provider fro... moreNo you cannot do that. Only way to have two access point with same name is to save one from settings msg you receive from network operator.
I still don't understand why you want to create one in uncategorised. Call your customer care, they'll tell you what to do. I understand that you want to access net through opera free of charges, but why two access points and that too one in uncategorised destination?
Btw...... Contrary to your belief, this is not a CFW related problem.
why all the guys ask for specifications???
dont we have specs in this site itself??
dont ask rubbish questions.
dop it lowwwwwwwwww, 16 Nov 2010So i can't use Nokia AC-8U charger? How about Nokia AC-5U charger? I just want to charge... morehey ,you can use AC-8U with 5233 .It can be used with any nokia phones having 2mm charging interface .
rafh26, 16 Nov 2010actually pal.. requesting gprs settings is manualy requesting through the service provider fro... moreas far as i know it philippines they send some text message for gprs activation. All over the internet ,they describes a particular format for text message for that provider. In your case reading your post i guess you have already got the settings and you played with manual settings that it is not working properly. You have connection problems with default browser ?Or only have problems with opera mini ?Anyway, give a visit to this link www.yugatech.com/blog/how-to-setup-globe-gprs-3g-mms/ .You can search with the term'settings for gprs in philippines ' in google .

So i can't use Nokia AC-8U charger?
How about Nokia AC-5U charger?
I just want to charge my phone much faster. I just want confirmation if i can use these chargers.
Especially AC-5U, i heard that it can charge our 5233 for 1 hour only because it has higher mAh, if I'm not mistaken.
I just want a confirmation with you guys if AC-5U can be use with this phone, because I'm sick and tired waiting for hours just to charge this phone.
rafh26, 16 Nov 2010actually pal.. requesting gprs settings is manualy requesting through the service provider fro... moreI am not the person to whom your question was referred to but still...... First, you are trying to confuse yourself too much. Second, unless your service provider allows you any bandwidth, you can't browse net no matter how much or how many manual access points you cook up. To check if your network provider is providing any internet gateway to you or not, change the following settings. Go to menu, settings, connectivity, admin setting, packet data, packet data connection. Now change this to 'when available'. Now look at the upper left corner of the mobile screen. If you see an E with 2 dotted arrows below it, then its full proof that you have the permission to connect to server. Next, is the settings. To get it, either request your network provider by calling their helpline or by sending any command message. The latter is what everyone here does and the connection comes to life in matter of minutes. Oh wait, in my place, we don't even have to request settings. Whenever i insert my sim to a new phone, the settings come up automatically. After that, if we need them again then we send commands to get them. If still nothing works, then change your provider or go to their main district office to create a havoc. This was how i got internet almost a year ago. Be radical if nothing works.
pal, what is the use of "FOTO" file in C:\?

utk, 14 Nov 2010So how are you sending the request? Through sms? If so, then it could be a network problem.
