            [deleted post]just like philips ,samsung
            supplies everything to other
            companies .But their own
            products are not market leaders.
As in the case of mobile
phones ,Nokia is the world leader and the no. 1 trusted
            brand .

[deleted post]Just like Philips ,they supplies semiconductors to other companies and their own products are buggy. As in the mobile world,Nokia is still the no.1trusted brand in the world.

Thought i must admit i like the awesome particle effect that comes with dejavu. As for the flash bug, anyone tried reinstalling flash lite 3.17?

PS: For guys running latest firmware and wanting to check out different CFWs. Katalyst^2 CFW based on latest FW is now available.

mohit, 03 Nov 2010i have to allow the phone to start after flashing?????as after flashing is done phone immediat... moreWait wait.... settle down, dude. Forget first time and second time. Just follow this. When the flashing finishes successfully (as told by jaf), your phone will start automatically and show a white screen with 'nokia, local mode' written in the middle. You can't get out of this screen just by pressing the power button or anything else. So, its necessary that you take the battery out. After putting it back, start the phone. This is the 'first time' startup of your phone. This startup takes more time than usual startup. So don't think that the phone hanged or something like that. Now, when the phone finally started up, do hard reset (as asked by the creator of the cfw). After resetting and completing all the essentials, restart the phone again (even if the phone restarts automatically, its the same). This is the final startup in which the phone reinstalls some of the necessary applications. Just keep it idle for 5 minutes (in its homescreen state) and let the phone do its thing in the background. After 5 minutes, do whatever you want. Your phone is officially done flashing and have completed the required essentials. Enjoy the new and improved nokia 5233.

I have first hand experience as my phone suddenly heated up and the battery drained completely within a couple of hours. Later i found the culprit to be the camera working in the background. Download the flash gadget file from the cfw source site or check out n5233.tk for more gadgets. Now change the homescreen to basic and then copy the gadget.swf file to the main directory E:\ of memory card. Now change the HS again to see if the flash HS is displayed. Some cfw needs a hard reset after update to copy the gadget.swf file automatically to the memory card.

Just checked out a .swf flash file but failed to open. File manager says unable t open file. Hmmm might be a bug. Anyway just waiting for the next Revenge. That time i'll use the Speed type2 8HS variant instead.

Start-up your phone, wait for some time(10-15 secs) and then hard reset it. Once it starts up, wait for a while(2 minutes) before entering your country, time zone etc. After entering those details again wait for the HS to load up(may take a minute or two).

It's important to wait as Revenge^6 installs some of it's apps and tweaks during that time.
