Although i did find someone on the net who actually was successful in partitioning. Only Xp supports it, not vista or 7. Even in xp, some software to enable grayed-out options is required. Cause in general, the partitioning option is not clickable.
utk, 20 Oct 2010What's the use of partitioning it? the device won't recognize it anyway. It's useful for a PC ... moreAh, you mean the one i got free with 5130. One of my cousins took it from me.
Anyways, there is a very important use of partitioning. Cause if one partitions the memory card then the partitioned spaces can be used to put personal files and then lock it with some password. That will be a great feature, indeed.
sidewinder and sbdevilmind, need ur help once again. I searched the whole net but nowhere found a signed version of bluetooth receiver app. I dont want to hack my phone. If u know any site where i can find it, then post it with spaces or some special characters. Thanks in advance.
Sbdevilmind, 20 Oct 2010I wanna ask you something about this file browser. Until you guys started discussing about it,... moreI'm gald you dived deeper into it... I've noticed that feature too but didn't give it much of a thought as all my previous attempts to partition a memory card on windows turned out futile. So my conclusion was, if windows can't so, then can a sis app actually do that. I too don't have a spare memory card to actually try it out. But look at the possibilities if it was actually possible to do so.. A full separate partition for our personal files. Add an encryption to it and it's finally something useful...

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2010What is the proper settings for the camera while in low light indoor conditions ?There are no proper settings, it varies according to ambient artificial lighting conditions. Best option for you would be to use the automatic option or night option. Night setting has a very slow capture speed and hence the images can turn blurry if movement is involved.

SidewindeR, 20 Oct 2010I'll check that out...I wanna ask you something about this file browser. Until you guys started discussing about it, i didn't actually give a through look at its features. I checked it out and found many options. Most of them looked scary, as if touching them would blow the device. Ha ha, just kidding. Anyways, keeping aside the comic part, i wanna ask you, have you tried using the disk partitioning feature of that software? I didn't want to risk my memory card and i didn't have a spare memory card to test (i mean the minimum i got is 4gb, and its in use, so can't risk that too). So, tell me if you or utk have tried or have any knowledge about its possibility. Or if you can try it out yourself using any unused low-memory card of yours. I am kinda curious.
I did search about flash drive partitioning and i found out that its actually possible. Although there are cases of certain locking mechanism inside genuine memory cards like those belonging to sandisk, transcend etc, hence showing errors during the partitioning procedure. Another case is the device's inability to recognise the partitions except the very first partition among them. So, please enlighten me further on this if you have already done a through research on it. I am waiting......
