The number 5228 was given so that people don't get the idea that nokia 5233 has got more features than nokia 5230.
Since you have got a laptop with high speed internet, i guess you don't need 3g. So taking nokia 5233 would be beneficial. And you must not forget the fact that nokia 5233 has got the coolest modified firmware among other s60v5.

SidewindeR, 21 Sep 2010Ok that wold mean a faster read speed as well right?First i would like to tell you that utk and i are friends since quite a long time (through gmail). I asked the exact same question as yours to him a few months back and he gave me a very clear concept. Now instead of saying what he told me, i will explain it through my understanding using an example.
Lets say that you have 2 houses (of same size) and one of them has 10 rooms (rooms are small) and the other has 5 rooms (rooms are comparatively bigger). Lets say there is one tv in each house (lets say you don't know how many). Now, if you were asked to find the tv in the 10 room house then you will have no choice but to search all the 10 rooms to be sure that you get the tv as well as to be sure that there is no other tv in the house. On the other hand, if you were asked to do the same in the 5 room house, you would definately need lesser time to finish searching than the one with 10 rooms.
File allocation is the same thing as rooms. Lesser the file allocation size, lesser the size of the rooms hence more the number of rooms hence more the required time. A mobile while searching for gallery files, has to search all the 'rooms' in the memory card so that it finds all the files. So its obvious that if the phone had lesser 'rooms' to search then it would have had finished the searching in lesser time. So if you increase the file allocation size twice then the number of 'rooms' will decrease to half and hence the phone will finish searching the files in about half the time.
You have to add a little of your existing concept into this to fully understand the topic. Hope you understand what i just wrote.
