Aircel and mtnl edge conn. give around 4kBps in daytime and 3 - 4 times faster in night. However, this is not enough for smooth video streaming. So what i do is download videos from youtube to my mobile and then watch at my leisure. Airtel gives higher speeds due to big spectrum it possesses. New comers shud either go for airtel conn or new providers (like videocon/uninor/etc) as their congestion is less. Im waiting for mobile no portability which will be ready in india in 2/3 mths so that i can switch to providers with better service without losing my number.

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2010hey,all you people out der,,dis is just fooling your eyes because it has a big screen,,touch s... moreyes ur right,walkman phones are only comparable to ipods.but the only nokia phone which has better sound is nokia x6.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2010whether applications of nokia 5800 run in this phone or not ....???yes almost all apps for 5800 works on this phone as well. Some exclusive apps that use GPS and from cam won't work because of the lack of hardware.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2010What's d Internet downloading speed in computer after connecting it with airtel{edge} connection...With Airtel EDGE i get around 25-30kBps (kilo bytes) or 240kbps download speeds during nght hours.

Prabhu, 20 Aug 2010I am having Nokia 5230 with the same Heating problem and my friend also having the same proble... moreI too had heating prob with 5233. Nokia dealer suggested to keep ice pack with it always. Since then i always carry ice pack in my pocket. Keeps me and my phone cool. Hope u understand. Since then no heating prob with mobile or myself.
