Dr. Bidhan, 06 Aug 2010Mate may i knw wer u frm?ur reviews r so realistic that mk me to choose 5233.. thnx againI'm from Kerala (south of india)
I'm a 5233 owner since March and so far I have never gotten tired or bored of using it. Each day there is something different to play with or try out. For a tech lover like me, it was very well worth every rupee I spent.
Dr. Bidhan, 06 Aug 2010Hi mate..dnt knw y my good openions(replied to you) cudnt postd here i hv bn trying since ystr... moreAs I told you mate.. if you have a bit more money to spend, then get the 5230 instead as everything is the same plus you get 3G and GPS but if these aren't much important, then it's definitely better to get 5233.
i am regular user of nokia since 8 years my first was 3310, 3110, n72, 6600, n70, 6233 and my new purchasing is 5233. what i say about this cell, ok i tell you my bad experience. i went to shop market at 12:15 pm and 12:55pm i purchase 5233 and after taking a lunch at 2:00 pm i am totally fed up with music, earphone, speaker performance and plan to sale. thanks god! i got a customer and sale it Rs 1100 less price at 4:35pm. TIP 4 U--- don't pay money for wasting.
When i open any application, software, games or Java there is a security warning that application is untrusted N may b harmful to ur phone.. solution?
Anonymous, 05 Aug 2010is Sennheiser MX 160 earphones a good buy for this set ?No headphones could be good for this phone. The sound chip is poor. I had SE W950 few years ago and spending money on headphones like Sennheiser are worth for those phones only.
But I love this Nokia phone for other things. Its so cheap... got it for Rs. 6400/-, 3.2" screen, plays ScummVM games and loads of other stuff. Organiser is excellent.
-Reception is worst. Samsung Star beats it hands down.
-No wide screen photo capture
-No play next video button on video player

Anonymous, 05 Aug 2010is Sennheiser MX 160 earphones a good buy for this set ?Sennheiser CX300 is definitely better than MX160. MX160 is kind f an entry level earphone. Spend a bit more and get the best. You won't regret it.

Dr. Bidhan, 05 Aug 2010Yeah i got that..realy its amazing. Do u use 5233? Actualy i told dat i jst wanna buy 5233/30 ... moreYes mate.. I do use 5233. The funny thing is that I was actually planning to buy 5230 but a friend of mine who works at a nokia priority center told me that Nokia has stopped production of 5230 and is soon gonna pull the plug on software support and all. So the only other alternative was 5233 which was just introduced into the Indian market. But now I don't regret my decision at all. I do miss 3G and GPS but as I don't use it much it is really not a dealbreaker for me. For the money saved, I bought a Philips SHH9800 earphone. It's the best there is, so I pretty much have a serious music phone delivering superb audio quality. And any day, I would prefer music over 3G or GPS. It is all a matter of personal preferences though. The battery backup of 5233 is quite good. I get around 2 days usage on a moderate to heavy usage. Almost 6Hrs of music, 200SMS ane the rest of the time is spent installing themes and playing around with apps downloaded from mobile9.
