There are exceptions btw. Asianet dataline is one of the best ISP's in India. They do deliver what they claim on paper. In my knowledge no other ISP provides full bandwidth than mine and that too almost all the time even at traffic hours.

SidewindeR, 04 Aug 2010Yes mate but it's just that i've been an Airtel user since my first mobile phone and I am just... moreOk dear..plz dnt go to the 2mbps that is the highest on paper speed jst check d actual speed at that time as i do that by connection manager that will vary in kbps not at 2mbps.3G also claims broad band on mobile and realy its so speedy that widout buffering i can watch youtube videos(its my experience) do u know y im still stuck to BSNL?bcz of its net speed n u can download a file of any size, wat u cant do wid Airtel(limited file size permitted) as im use another Airtel no fr last 5mths..during 3g call u can share photos stored in ur gallery n it doesnt hv any extra charge

For the time being, my 2mbps unlimited broadband at home will make due at just 249 a month...

SidewindeR, 04 Aug 2010Yes 3G is faster than EDGE but for some reason, I haven't felt the need for 3G because; 1) 3G... moreDear u can use 3G in 2G(BSNL) sim..as im using my sim frm 6yrs n rt nw im using the 3G speed upto 150 kbps(sum time)..this time abt 50-62 kbps..i also mk video calls at 30ps/sec even STD calls too..i use 98/- data plan(of 2G) which gives surfing n downloading Upto 2GB in a month..b4 that i used 270/-(earlier that was 197/-) unlimited plan...its useless to hv 3g sim jst take 2g sim n use 3g netwrk my dear..i hv bn using N86 8MP since 16th Nov 10.

1) 3G is way too expensive compared to normal GPRS.
2) Only BSNL telecom (india) offers 3G services upto date.
3) 3G doesn't offer unlimited data plans which doesn't work for me anyway.
4) 3G coverage is limited to big cities and is not that reliable. It's like finding wifi hotspots here.
5) For mobile browsing and other related services, i find EDGE morethan enough to get the job done.
In addition, the EDGE speeds of 5233 is better than any other EDGE phone in this category whether it be corby or cookie. It has EDGE class 32 while the latter ones only have Class 12 and 10 respectively.

Lijo, 04 Aug 2010Thank u vry much........ Now can i run utorrent on this phone ???Yes infact symbian has just an app for this and it's totally free. Try Symtorrent application. it is a symbian alternative to utorrent. I have tried it and has even done downloading 3-4 full length movies. it really works and in less traffic hours, you can even get upto 25-30kBps download speeds.

hey guys headphones give with this phone is not at all gud....my frnd has nokia 5235...the headphones with 5235 is gud...i think the model no of headset is WH-701...can any one tell me the price of those headphones in Mumbai...

I love this phone! Great price for a touch screen phone. Though the camera doesn't have flash, you could use night mode for low light condition. Nokia still has the best software with user friendly interface. Sound quality is good. Web connection is also fast. Software and firmware update are also pretty fast. EDGE connection is already fast enough, you don't need 3G connection that would charge you more. Touchscreen is great(quick response)! 5233 is the best!
