danish, 12 Jun 2010yaar i want to know does applications of nokia 5800 work on noki 5233 & does 5233 supports... moreYes. applications for 5800, 5230, 5235, N97, Omnia, satio (most) would work on the 5233 as they are all Symbian 60 5th edition phones. The only apps that won't work are those apps that have something to do with camera flash as the 5233, 5235. and 5230 don't have built in flash for the camera.

5233 touch response is very good. resulation is same as 5800.i have both {5800,,5233}mobiles.every feater ans software are same.except wifi,3g gps and cam.5233 cam 2mp but belive me pic quality is very good.web browsing is same as 5800.i strongly recomended 5233.pls dont pass nagetive comments

I have been using this phone for 2 months already and i do not have any problem using it, so I can say that it is really a good phone . It has the same features with 5800 (except the camera, wlan, 3g), but despite the lack of the said features it is really worth the cash, especially to those people who dosen't have the cash to buy higher end smartphones. And to those people who are saying negative comments about this phone, just shut up!! If you want 3g, WI-FI and some others stuff then just buy 5800 or whatever phone that has dis kind of features as simply as that.

i have 5233. i have been experiencing time lag with messages. it take time to open messages. does anybody else experience the same ?

i love this fone as i live in india i dont need 3G n GPS....great fone indeed has the great SYMBIAN OS 9 of thr high end fones...
just wanted to ask is there a risk of contracting virus with this fone mine is no hacked

Better to buy 5230 as it is 3G enabled phone and have cost difference of only Rs. 500.Must check for 5230

If it is working screen should turn off when the phone is near ur ear.If it is not working screen may be on the whole time u are using it for talking

Then used it for watching movies, internet , get used to menus etc. Lasted for a day. Have you checked the signal strength in ur area. May be it is low. and are there any programs running the back ground.

i just bought the unit and it's great...but please can someone tell me how to put the calendar icon back on the menu bar? i somehow "accidentally" moved it somewhere while i was organizing it on the options bar...=( thank you

Beat, 11 Jun 2010Hello mate , i was asking my ?s 2 get ur help in 5230 fourm and u helped me 2 buy a good phone... moreYeah you can go for HellOx 2.4 but it doesn't work with the newer firmware version. Nokia seem to have figured that out. Hakin using Hellox is quite safe but it doesn't always gurantee success. The other thing to do would be to flash your phone with another firmware version which is kind of risky, tedious and definitely not recommended for first timers.

Its battery charge doesnt stay for half a day also. does any... moreMy phone's batt charge can last up to 10 hrs (7 hrs. continuous usage of internet and/or music player). Maybe your battery is defective or it is not authentic. Where did you buy your unit? Consult Nokia Care abt. your problem or go to Nokia site for support.

i bought this mobile 5 days back. Its battery charge doesnt stay for half a day also. does anyone face this problem? what is the solution for this? in phone specifications they have given as 10.7hours talktime but i cant speak for 2 hours also.
