If you want a cheap phone for messaging, calls, and listening to music, this is for you. There are lots of people out there, who don't need anything more than that. And hats off to Nokia for giving a 60$ device front facing stereo speakers.

I Didn't understand why nokia is thinking like this. Now a days who will prefer 0.2 camera, 8mb ram etc configuration? This is the reason nokia didn't reach customer expectations.although price is very high,Almost equalent of smart phones manufactures like LAVA, Micromax.
Requesting nokia Please change the "person" who is giving this bullshit idealogy.(configuration wise) & think your past experience and put your full efforts for customer satisfaction.

No 3g? It's also 3 or 4 times the price of similar budget phones. You can get a bottom of the range android phone for the same price. 0.2 MP camera is hilarious considering the original had a 2 MP one . Network I'm on doesn't even do 2g ..just who is this phone for? The oldies won't even be able to read that screen and buttons aren't big either. Kids are getting their parents old smart phones as a first phone now so it's not even for them. Better off just getting an old 3g dumb phone than this.

I have tried it, the song Quality is the worst i’ve heard on a cellphone. I use in ear monitors that are expensive, but Music player on this phone makes all songs sound distorted, It took me two seconds to notice that. Nokia 301, an older model has very good Quality. But its Harder to find.

I read in a previous comment that this phone can store unlimited number of messages(sms) if used with a memory card. I'm I correct?
Does that mean that if I upgrade later to a smartphone, I will still able to read with my smartphone the messages stored in my memory card while I was using my feature phone?

Baalamb, 13 Jan 2021Looking at a teardown video on YouTube, I'm planing to open it up and simply de-solder th... moreOkay, I didn't need a soldering iron – after dismantling (with a miniature Torx driver and a guitar pick), I just clipped off the "prongs" on the red bit of plastic that press the actual buttons on the circuit board. This means that the side volume buttons now do nothing at all, but this is not a problem since there is always another way to adjust the volume. Stupid that I had to do this, but it's a good phone now. (Although admittedly the internet on it is basically unusable, but I expected that!)

His... moreLooking at a teardown video on YouTube, I'm planing to open it up and simply de-solder the buttons from the board (the volume can be changed with other buttons). This is a sledgehammer to crack a nut, but I doubt they'll be fixing it in software any time soon, so... yeah. It's a stupid design.
