Hi guys I just want to give all you people considering buying the nokia 5310 some good information by comparing with 6233
Nokia 5310 vs Nokia 6233
(Technical Comparison Here: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone2=1387&idPhone1=2087)
5310 - 3.5mm jack
6233 - pop port
5310 - one (possibly too) speakers, medium volume
6233 - dual stereo speakers VERY LOUD
5310 - dedicated music buttons on side & advanced music player
6233 - no music buttons, basic music player
5310 - average
6233 - good, with average use of SMS / OCCASIONAL calls around 3-4 days
6233 i believe uses a higher capacity battery
Audio Connector Placement
6233 - bottom of phone
5310 - top of phone
* 5310 audio connector at top is not very convenient considering most people will put the phone in the pocket screen (top) first but may now have to put it in bottom first. Could become annoying having to flip the phone around to work with it after taking out of pocket
5310 - 70grams, 10mm thick - VERY thin & light. Quite odd holding it actually. SMS texting is ok
6233 - 110grams, 18mm thick - Not as thin/light but still comfortable to hold
5310 - supports up to 4gig microsd
6233 - supports up to 2gig stated by nokia - not sure if it will handle 4gig
Some quick pros/cons of each phone & which to buy when
* Loud stereo speakers (said to be one of the loudest cellphones around) ~ you'll never miss a call
* Comfortable use/keypad for SMS
* good battery life - 3/4 days with moderate use
* not the nicest looking phone
* No 3.5mm audio jack ~ basic music player
* 3.5mm audio jack, music buttons, good music player
* thin, light & compact
* cons - battery life may not be great
* speakers not as loud as 6233 & said to be pretty low volume
If you want an ipod & a phone in one get the 5310.
If you want a cheaper alternative that can play music & with louder internal speakers, get the 6233
i bought this phone but the sounds are very low. i cannot here 2 meters away. is there any solve for this problem??
bought in pune, india for Rs.11k, it yet to be officially launched, it will be on 31-10
I bought this phone.
Everything good except for the sound in loudspeaker. the ringtones, songs sound very low. its difficult to hear.
Headphone sound is good
its available in karachi price Rs 23,500 very very high i must say may be after some time pice will cut down hope so...
i got this phone. its size is very nice. but the Alarm clock is very bad the sound of it is realy low and it cant be loaud. also it doesnt have the AM & PM clock it is only 24 hours clock. this is the main disadvantages points i found.
Bought the phone a week ago pay as you go in UK for 129.99.bargain for quality.very stylish and slim.very good battery life.at least 4 days.it comes with 2 GB memory.the best nokia i had untill now.highly recommended.
I bought it today. Comes with 2GB MicroSD and USB cable. Battery is not bad compared with Nokia 6300. Cover is very flimsy. Music loudness is as not loud as Nokia 6300. Camera is absolutely RUBBISH.
the sound isnt loud because its thin if you want loud sound on speakers go for the 5700 or 6233 or maybe one of the nokia bertues if your rich enough.but 5310 is wicked on sound for me through headphones
haloo i'm from Egypt and i saw this mobile here in Egypt it is very simple and thin i heard his sound but it isn't very loud but wait for it until its price become lowwwww
this is already availble @ robinsons manila @ Php 14K, it looks and feels nice.. very glossy and so slim.. and it actually looks good than in pics.
ya for the cost i hav i all of as r waiting or this only
the cost of this fone is RS.10600 in india indore......and mumbai ......check out here
buddy its around 16 and a half thousand rupees here in karachi.. i think 5310's price will be almost some or slightly more expenxive because every new product is highly over priced when it is latest in the market
read our opinions carefully
and u will know when it will
you gotta be kidding, m8.
the 6500 is like... for my grandmother! (and read the review) I'd never ever use anything like that around my m8s or the girls.
the E51 is ugly as hell, might be a good phone but it's too 'serious'.
Anyway, you can't compare these 3 phones. The only thing they have in common is that they make calls.
