i just updated the firmware on my nokia 5310.. but now it asks for the memory card password which i don't remember. is there some kind of way i can access my memory card again or retrieve the password?
i have this phone for 2 weeks now, then i care of it since i buy, but the only problem is its camera,, when i capture some image it takes more seconds to capture the image than other phones,,
anybody know about this? please answer me!
I've had this phone for about a year now.
It's very durable, I am not one to take care of my phones, I always keep accidentally or purposefully drop it. So far there aren't any major damages, only a bit of scratches here and there. I have only taken it for repair once, but only cause it got wet.
My only problem with it, and other Nokia phones, is that I get bored with them easily. Nokia phones usually use the menu and options, and the features aren't that nice.
I have had this phone since March 2008, which makes it 1 year 8 months now and never had any problems with it. I am running the latest firmware as of today, version 10.10 and it's solid. The phone never restarts randomly like other phones do, the call quality is very good. I bought it to have a music player and a phone in 1 device, rather than carrying 2 separate ones. The music quality is excellent, better than any iPod. I put a 8 GB SanDisk microSD card, and even though the phone shows only 3.5 GB when you check the capacity, it accesses all 8 GB of files, so no problems there. I heard that even 16 GB cards are supported without problems. I didn't buy this phone for the camera, and if you complain about camera, get a dedicated camera and stop bitching about the quality of a 2 Mpx camera and keep repeating to yourself that phones are not cameras, and if you seriously think that you can have a good camera on a phone, then you know nothing about photography, sorry.
The main reason why I bought this phone is because it's light (only 71 grams) and there's no other phone that is that light and has that set of features. One SE model comes close, but Nokia is traditionally more reliable, so 5310 is a clear winner here. The phone is almost invisible in the pocket and doesn't pull it down when carrying it all day long. I use a HS-26W bluetooth headset with it, no issues there either.
When I bought it I was super excited with the new XpressMusic line of phones from Nokia. I thought that in a year I might change it for some cool new model, also slim and light like 5310, but alas, no other model was released that is thin and light like this one. I really love this phone and hope Nokia continues the trend, because 150 gram smartphones are not for everyone, some need it as small and light as possible.
m using this phone from last 1.5 yrs...... nd this phone really rocks...specially its music & picture quality.. thnx to NOKIA
music clarity is simply super
2MP camera clarity too better than other 2MP camere phones
This phone is small and lightweight..I don't even feel it in my pocket. So many bad reviews here but I've had it for 16 months and have almost zero problems. However the Camera quality is not very good and for some reason phone line cuts un the middle of conversation...but no other display, memory or card problems. Very nice phone and every one compliments and loves the phone and size!
Anonymous, 25 Nov 2009is the camera good to capture fast motion pictures?...Not at all. With it's sleekness and picture quality,i am disappointed it doesn't capture good still pictures.
