there is another volume control for the message reader, apart frm the main volume stick. you can find it in
Menu>applications>msg. reader>options>speech settings>volume
try changing that. might work!

Hi everyone,
My phone's message listening volume has gone extremely down, i couldn't hear it clear even when i get it close to my ears; its that low :( but it wasn't the same when i bought it. (every volume stick in phone is at maximum level).
Please help me

Menu->settings->Data manager->App.mang->installed apps->(find the app you want to uninstall)

U need to get the GPRS/3g settings installed in you phone. to get this installed you have several options.
1. most mobile network operators on request will send you the GPRS/3G settings. only you have to do is call the customer service and request
2. if not you can call them and get the setting instruction from them step by step so you can manually add the settings
3. you take the phone to a nearest branch of your network operator he will help you with the settings.

Can you guys tell me the manufacturer's country of your handset. It will be given in the sticker on the box.
Also tell me the 7th and 8th digit of your IMEI which is also given on the box. Else you can check by entering *#06# on the phone.

I'm using same version of the firmware(3.08) and i face same problem of tap/crack sound(r... moredear chaitanya,
i too have version 3.08 but i dont have any such problem. could u explain ur problem furthur.
1.)is the noise continuous or does it occur in regular intervals?
2.)does it come while using the fm and music player or only fm?
3.)are you using the default headphones?
let me know and ill try to find the problem.
furthur if u cant install apps. its probably because u dont look for apps for feature pack 2.
not all programs of feature pack 1 are compatible with feature pack 2 u know??? ive got tons of apps in my phone.all working perfectly fine!
tell me the apps u want and ill try to find the compatile ones for u!

to delete previous settings u can try the following
go to menu>settings>phone settings>connection>destinations>multimedia msg.
there u can delete the previous settings!
