Infact, if i do get it, all my music and communication needs will be taken care of. The only thing i wil b missing is a gud camera.
Thanks 4 the link. But im realy wondering if its realy gona b annoucd. Its already bn a year since the 5710 rumor started. Anyway, im assuming the go-play event wil b this month. Thats when nokia is most likely to announce the 5800xm plus another music-oriented handset.
do u have this cellphone?
don't just comment if u don't really know the difference between the music quality of 5310 and the 5320.. Don't just rely with reviews.
~I'm a owner of a 5310xm phone
and I tell you there's no difference between a 5310 and a 5320 sound quality...
I tried listening to it because my friend owns this 5320..
just looks, there's no difference with the 5310..
just the platform and the ram surprises me most..

But 6210-Nav and N82 are good, i think the Navigator would be a great choice OR even the 6220c. ;)
Looks like they've found the REAL 5700 successor: http://www.symbian-freak.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14210

I was going for the n78, but the wobbly back cover really got 2 me. Personaly im gona miss that brilliant camera and the stylish music adapter.
Now im considering waiting. If im impatient maybe i wil buy the 6210 navigator or the n82.
I totaly agree bro.
I thought you were going for the N78? Did its average sound quality change your mind?
The XpressMedia devices look like they are going to be amazing! I cant wait to see them.
just wondering, can you use the front camera for taking pictures or is it only for video calls?
viperkid, 10 Aug 2008while ds reviewers are quite impressed more wd 5320XM's overall performance and audio quality
... moreDude, u are so right. Its audio quality is great. The numbers speak for themselves. Its audio quality is on par with 5310xm while the n81 is slightly better. Apart from these 2 phones, it killed all the others especially when it came to frequency response, dynamic range and noise level.
Another thing is that the 5310 and 5320 have the exact audio chip and the audio quality test shows this. GSMArena reviewed the 5310 and said that it had 'some serious sonic power' and 'is quite up to the task when it comes to exceling in music', yet when it comes to the 5320 it becomes a different matter. Why?
About the wi-fi, it shouldnt be termed as a disadvantage, but GSMArena have been reviewing a lot of wi-fi phones of late like n78, e71, so im guessing theirs was a matter of personal taste.
I hear the 5800 xpressmusic wil be announced soon, (maybe this month) hopefully with another xpressmusic handset. Im banking on the 5700 sucessor. (There was a rumor earlier this year of a 5600xm as the 5610 successor, but i cant find the links anymore). The 5800xm specs-sheet is awesome but i aint a fan of touchscreen phones.
Anonymous, 06 Aug 2008does the 5320 have multitask?yes it does - even better navigation on the new symbian FP2.
eng eng , 08 Aug 2008r u sure the camera is gud wak0kok...yes it's for my own opinion.i am satisfied with this phone.

-"handset’s battery life averaged 3 days in our tests"
-"it’s one of the best performers when it comes to playing music"
-"The actual audio quality of the 5320 is very good, perhaps thanks to its dedicated audio chip. Music on the 5320 sounds more detailed than on the N95 for example, and it somehow has a lot of "oomph". There's no background hiss during moments of silence."
-"I was also making lots of phone calls and the phone was online for two days"
-"runs incredibly fast, outstanding music playback capabilities, N-Gage support. All this for about €240"
Dan, 09 Aug 2008I agree that this isnt the 5700 replacement. I dont see how GSMArena could not call the audio ... moresame here. i dunno wd GSMarena but IMHO one segment in d review should've been entitled..
"Great audio quality, but not excellent"
"5320 struggles to keep distortion levels under control"
from wat i understand, 5320 was 2nd from d best n defeated N81 in THD, n was 3rd from d best juz behind N81 in IMD, n was clearly better than SE W980.
but when GSMarena reviewed W980 dey said:
"We are very pleased with the overall audio quality of Sony Ericsson W980. It definitely has some potential and apart from the rather high intermodulation distortion and total harmonic distortion showed very good results"
apart from stereo crosstalk w/c is d only edge of d high end music phone SE W980 shown from d tests (stereoness of tracks, but ds does not hold a heavy impact on sound quality per se but rather improves ur experience) 5320XM is clearly a better all-round performer in terms of audio quality (best part is u only pay half d price of W980) on said tests and IMHO 5320 deserves better highlight on its positive strengths. its essential negative point - stereo crosstalk is d main weakness of ds phone, w/c btw, not bad at all.
n another thing, dey highlighted 'no wi-fi' even if ds phone costs only half of those having it
jus my two cents
Please tell me how is the spkr quality when the music is playing nd is tis phone support n-gage games also original indian Rs any one seeing ple help me
I agree that this isnt the 5700 replacement. I dont see how GSMArena could not call the audio quality impressive. The audio numbers speak for themselves. Only the n81 and 5310xm could match it, especially the dynamic range. I own a 5310 and it is louder than my laptop (with the latest firmware update).
I see a bright future for the 5320, (especially with the good pricing) but im still gona wait for the true 5700 replacement or buy an n81.
Great review by GSMArena. I wasnt aware of the fact that the 5320xm was a 5700 replacement? I think thats where GSMArena are wrong, surely the true 5700 replacement will/should have atleast a 2.2inch screen, slide design, touch navi wheel and probably dual 3D stereo speakers. With that said the 5320xm in my opinion is going to sell well, it makes for a better music phone than a SE W910, has good sound quality, 3.5mm jack, 369mhz CPU, LOADS OF RAM ,new fresh symbian UI with transition and menu effects as well as Ngage keys AND lets not forget it runs Symbian S60, the best selling Mobile Operating System and Platform in the rest of the World (outside the USA). Well done NOKIA.
Ps: my N81 is far better though :-P
