kobe~~, 23 May 2009to Anonymous; im ASIAN. my phone nokia5320 accessories label "made in china". and many pe... moreHi Kobe,

          In your case:
Your phone is made in china (well, I think that you open the battery up and see the label behind, right?) and your phone box is written "made in korea", right?

Okay, in my opinion, you are lied by the seller. I am so sorry. You can ask the seller. Both of phone and the box must be the same writing (i.e. made in korea/india/china). IT IS A MUST!

I do not say that your phone is not original but I am sure that it maybe not the brand new/black market. OR if your phone is brand new, your box maybe not brand new and be sealed with the unoriginal Nokia seal. The seller must buy the phone and the box separately.

The best thinking is that Nokia has faulty in production but it is rarely happened.

My suggestion: you ask to the official Nokia Care in your country and ask them why there is differences. The most important thing is you have official warranty although I am not sure you have it in your case.

          In your sister case:
It is a normal case. Although I bought Nokia (which is made in Finland) directly from the UK, the accessoris is made in china/vietnam/hungary/germany/finland itself/where ever. My phone is made in Finland originally but the battery is made in hungary and the headset is made in china and so on. Also, my phone bought in Indonesia is made in Korea but the charger is made in China. Don't worry about it!

          For any case:
In some countries, the government (and maybe Nokia itself) prohibit the phone labeled "made by Nokia". If you find the phone "made by Nokia", it should be the old model.

Okay, you all may think that the phone made in asian countries (i.e. China/India/Korea) is not good. I can understand it because asia has developing countries. But Nokia has its own quality standard. As I said it may be normally 1 in 10000 or 100000 phones faulty in production. So, if you get the one, you are unlucky, sorry.

          Good Luck,
          No Name, Sorry

Is there new version of firmware? Mine is 4.13. I hear that the newer one is 4.20/26/whatever. Is it true? How good is it?

I think your idea is not exactly true although personally, I do not know which one is true and believable. Personally, I do not agree with your idea.

In your idea, these are only my few phone:
I have N6070 which has 0 and 1, but it is made by Nokia. I bought the phone in Indonesia.
I have N9500 and N7210 (old model) which both has 0 and 0 and they are made in Finland. I bought them in the UK.
I have N5320 which has 0 and 2 but it is made in Korea. I bought it in Indonesia.
                      and so on...

If you are living in Asia, Nokia used to place "made by Nokia" at their labels. But they change the policy and place the label based on where the phone are made. In Asia, there are only 3 countries which produce and distribute Nokia phone ONLY IN ASIA (i.e. has the original warranty); those are India, Korea and China.

If you are living in Europe, they would be made in Finland, Hungary and Germany as far as I know.

They would have original warranty if they are bought in the country where you buy the phone from. If you bring it outside internationally, the warranty is broken/very limited.

Some peoples may said the Nokia made in Finland is the best because Nokia comes from Finland. But I think that Nokia will give any Nokia phone warranty of quality. Some may be broken but it is only 1/10000 phones in production.

jHoe, 20 May 2009...i'm planning to buy Nokia 5320 but im afraid about it because of it's poor design especiall... moreThe keypad design is subjective. Personally, I thought that its design is so bad. But when I saw the real phone of N5320, I could not help falling in love with the whole of N5320.

The keypad design is only the LINE model, it does not affect its usability/ergonomical aspect too much because:
                                      1. Its keypad size is quite bigger.
                                      2. The position of number is normal and usual.
                                      However, the negative points is:
                                      1. Its keypad is flat but the center navigator.
                                      2. It is quite hard to press (well this case is only for me, I think) but the respon is fast.

                                      ...that's for keypad.
