is the quality of the pictures taken by the camera seen on the screen the same as a nokia 6230i, since it has the same resolution?
Here’s what I should have done: I should have make a backup of the included memory card before I do anything. Now, I want to do a hard reset, but not sure what to do to with the memory card. I want to start a fresh. I also want to change the memory card to bigger one. Help please….
it didnt happend to me yet(1 week)..but its starting to..is this problem by gluing it again ??
i bought this 3 weeks back ,initially it looked cool. i hardly use the motion sensors. The audio quality is sad ,Nseries or w700 or w810 would beat this any time.
Though it has a 2 mega pixal the picture quality is not as good as Nseries. Its display is also small compared to Nseries so browsing is difficult. Finally the worst part it has a poor battery life, because the sports application keeps running in the backgroung.
I would request the readers to go for W810 or N series which are available at the same cost.
battery life is pretty poor, maybe every 2 days gotta charge? a bit of music and calls each day
loudspeaker is very loud, for external playback it beats my rokr
what represents the 3D motion sensor? can someone tell me?
if any one can clear my confusion
is this phone has got a high playback sound like nokia N70 or other N series phone
KINDLY ANSWER PLZZZZZZZZZ
The 64Mb is NOT internal. It is a microSD flashcard that comes with the phone. I've personally bought a gigabyte one to mine.
The 5500 is the SMALLEST s60 out there. It tells you something. Also, the screen is, although only 208x208 pixels, a square which I totally dig. It's very sharp and bright, I love it.
Unlike many new Nokias, the keypad is plastic/rubbery which feels much better to type with. The connectors are also under a rubbery shield for protection. Quite handy, hopefully it won't come off after some time..
I wouldn't buy any other 3rd edition phone, it's so great! It's also much faster than most new E-series phones, too..
Hi, i have 4 questions:
1. how is the battery holding out when you use the mp3 player frequently? after how many days do you have to charge the phone?
2. does the phone have a thermometer?
3. what's the maximum memory supported?
4. does using big memory cards slow down the phone?
thanks for your help!
Correction: This phone does operate on Symbian OS 9.1 3rd Edition. But nokia posting 2MP on this phone is technically not true, its more like 1.6MP (hint:how much zoom it can allow).
Symbian OS Version: S60
User Interface: v9.1
I have heard that the problem is noticed and the cause of it is clear and already taken care of in newer phones. Best solution is to have your retailer/shop to handle the repairs (warranty).
We have a major problem with keypads on the Nokia 5500d they come unstuck. What is Nokia proposing to do about this problem?
Just got it too.Very nice, although I do not dare test its durability.Fast, good grip and very interesting sport functions.I own also a 5210 and a 5140i.There could be no better replacement than this.
I bought this phone about a month ago and its amazing, I even use TOMTOM 6 GPS on it with Bluetooth Receiver. No Complaints about anything on this phone. Software for its a bit rare but most software that works with is Symbian OS S60 3rd Edition. Amazing that is all I can say. Nokia you did a great JOB.
In China, a few people complain that the key pad can be easyly pear off after about 1 month. Here are some pictures about it:
Meybe it is glue problem. Or it is design problem.
