Jett, 08 Mar 2010buddy what's i-SMS?Dear Jett,
Actually the application name is 'Free i-sms' (Not just i-SMS) It's a very nice application which will enable you to view your SMS as threaded SMS... (Just like in Apple i-Phone) If you want to see a screen shot, please click below link... (That's my facebook profile... I think you have a facebook account... Right..?)
There will be plenty of screen shots of my 5530 Xpress Music... I bet you will want all the applications I've installed...!
Im so excited to get my 5530.... haha just dont know when that would be, but definitely soon!
thanks a lot all you guys.... your negative posts made me think and ask, till i get the best answer i think i would get. and the positive posts helped me decide. now im really going for 5530..
hack my phone
download cool applications
Vick, 08 Mar 2010will the screen be not sensitive after using some months?????Dear Vick,
'Screen will not be so sensitive after usage of few months...' What non-sense...! It's not going to happen dear... Don't worry... (I'm using it for 4 months and I don't feel any difference at all... Recently I checked it with a new 5230 and I felt great about my 5530...)
cned, 08 Mar 2010hey nuwan, where'd ya get your threaded messaging app?Dear cned,
I think you're talking about "Free i-SMS" right...?
I got it from our regular web site, www.dotsis.com
Or else you can also get it from the original distributor as it's a freeware as far as I know..
cheers, 07 Mar 2010to all of you who had use this phone for few months..
could u please give me 3 reasons to buy... moreDear cheers,
Three reasons why you should buy 5530,
1) Damn sexy look (Thin, stainless steel, Touch screen)
2) It's a Smart mobile and you can install so many wonderful stuff...
3) Music quality is just awesome
Three reasons why you shouldn't go for 5530,
1) Poor battery which will not last 2 days with heavy usage
2) No 3G (with secondary camera)
3) No GPS
Cyber-shot under dog, 07 Mar 2010Im a college student. . . AHAHA! ! I buy and sells phones, as a part time job. . . that's why... moreDear Cyber-shot under dog,
Apparently someone has posted something against you... But the post has been already deleted so I couldn't reply it..
Don't worry brother.. there are people who can't understand 'why a human being want to help another human being without expecting anything in return...' That's the problem with them...!
For the other friends in GSMarena, This is my opinion about Cyber-Shot under dog...
Our friend is a mobile phone seller who knows a lot about mobile phones and their capabilities... (At least he knows more than us...) And the most interesting thing is, He holds a 5530 over very nice mobiles out there... Isn't it a fair enough reason why we also should go with that wonderful phone...? (A mobile phone seller can't be wrong guys...! He will always select the best for him... Right...?)
Sabin Cruz, 06 Mar 2010Is it just my handset or nokia 5530 has pale yellowish screen color instead of white.
For exa... moreDear Sabin Cruz,
Nokia 5530 Xpress Music has a bit yellowish colored screen... That's common thing... (Not only in Opera Mobile, You will see it in any application if you look carefully comparing to another mobile...) Specially with 5800, you will notice that difference immediately... (Because 5800 has a bit bluish colored screen...)
Personally I find yellowish 5530 screen colors are more appealing...
Anonim, 06 Mar 2010For those who have this phone a few months to over a year-QUESTIONS:
How is the battery lif... moreDear Anonim,
I totally agree with Cyber-shot under dog... I did test once in order to check my battery and the result was as follows... (As I recall...)
1) 2 hours of talking (calling)
2) 4 hours of Music
3) Half an hour of Wifi (internet browsing)
4) 20 SMS
With above usage, My phone remained 1 and half days... I personally think that's fair enough for a 1000 mAh battery in a 2.9" screen touch mobile...
With direct sun light, I can't see almost nothing... That's true.. I'm from a tropical country (Sri Lanka) and at day time, the Sun is directly above us... And I don't see anything in my mobile... So I always have to go to a shelter in order to do anything with it... (However this is not a big problem to me, as I'm working in an office at that time... And there I don't have any trouble at all...)
BaaZziGaR, 06 Mar 2010Hey Nuwan...
plz temme s0methn abt d br0wser
10x in advance...Dear BaaZziGaR,
I suppose you're asking about Default web browser...
It has pros and cons... I don't use it though...
Pros: Nice preview feature of history... (Previously visited pages) with kinetic scrolling, Web pages support kinetic scrolling, can play and even save Youtube videos without any problem, Memory low problems have been minimized
Cons: Not so stylish or user friendly as Opera mobile, No tab browsing, Flash support on web pages are not so great (But acceptable), Web pages are kind of mobile optimized (We don't feel we're surfing web like in a computer)
However if you're searching for a good web browser then 'Opera Mobile' is just awesome application which is used by thousands of mobile users... It has so many great features... Stylish look... Full web page loading (yet faster...).. Kinetic scrolling works like a charm... Flash contents in web pages are acceptably playing... Wonderful tab browsing.. Fully touch optimized.. Password manager, Block pop-ups features... etc...
'Skyfire' also is good but it still needs more improvements... Cons of Skyfire are, it requires more memory (Not enough memory error may appear), Web page visibility has some problems, Not yet fully touch optimized... Pros are Perfect flash support.. (Even better than opera mobile) Even highest quality flash contents are played...
Both above 'Opera Mobile' and 'Skyfire' are free applications... Do a little google search and you will find them...
I have a Nokia which I purchase January 2010 and this phone is giving me hell. I am still wondering why after one (1) month this phone is giving me all this trouble? I can't receive calls and answer without it shutting down. Have anyone here had this problem? Seriously, I will like to find away to fix this phone because i really like it.
flipmburu, 07 Mar 2010Hi everyone, Im being faced by the difficult choice between the nokia 5800 and the 5530. I fe... morei'd go for the nokia 5530 as its better dont worry about the 3g as it has wifi whic is faster than 3g

Cyber-shot under dog, 07 Mar 2010why you must buy?
