Krizan, 17 Aug 2009Hi guys..If i get HTC touch 3G, secondhand at Rs.8000, should i buy it over 5530...I want a ni... moreif u want a phone with good audio and video capability then go for 5530.. Also its better for video as it has a better resolution and 16m colour display.. And also will get a lot of apps of every sort for this phone.. Go for 5530 unless u don't need 3g..
Hi guys..If i get HTC touch 3G, secondhand at Rs.8000, should i buy it over 5530...I want a nice touch screen phone with great audio n video capability, n good app compatibility too..
Please help me to decide..
Guys i got the phone today. The initial firmware still has some minor bugs but will be solved in the coming firmwares (if not in the first coming firmware).
Concerning the video recording, it records in a resolution of 640x480 @ 30 fps, i tested that myself. Camera quality is good, and will be better with the next firmwares.
Kinetic scrolling works smooth in almost every menu (if not all).
Home screen is an amazing jump from the 5800.
Speed is good, and will be better in the next firmwares (just like what happened in the 5800)
Music quality is the same as the 5800 (i will confirm it %100 tomorrow as am going to compare same song on both phones using same headphones)
For me, i prefer it over the 5800, as it's smaller and more robust. I don't have 3G and GPS in my country so not a big deal for me. I don't usually take photos in low light conditions the the single LED will do plus am not a photo freak :p
Hope this will be helpful for you guys.
people reports white/blue is available in nokia store in saint petersburg.
Anonymous, 16 Aug 2009http://thenokiablog.com/2009/08/15/nokia-n97-mini-other-phones/ look here maybe nokia 5900 but... moreOne thing does not contradict the other.
And given the fact that the so called "5900 video" was actually an earlier design for the 5800, and that the mysterious photos of the 5900 turned out to be the 5530, added to the fact that those photos aren't official, there's no way to tell if that's even real, or even if there's gonna be a 5900.
Speculate all you want though. I'll be waiting for some more evidence.
Anil, 16 Aug 2009Its not so easy for nokia to provide this new features to 5800 anyway.....they can just fix th... moreYes, but one thing is features that haven't been seen yet, another completely diffent thing is features that work on a lower end phone using the exact same operative system.
And no, they won't raise the CPU clock rate any more than this. It would give a bad battery life, which is very important for a multimedia phone.
eshaan, 16 Aug 2009Haha the mobile store here told me end og august.
Ok now i have an option to buy the 5800 o... moreLook, someone from Nokia has already said the 5800'd get that as well.
If you have 3G in your country and you can afford the 5800, then I can't see why you'd go for the 5530.
Even if you don't have 3G, the 5800 is still very good for it's price.
Anonymous, 16 Aug 2009do anyone have ear speaker problem??? i feel the other end person speaking as having more bass... moreYou mean the earpice (small hole on the phone where you put your ear while talking) or the headphones (that you put inside your ears)?
Kabir, 16 Aug 2009logic besides 'i don't need them' is the attempt of price reduction and reaching the masses...... moreOK.
Beat me so hard I'll be flying to the moon, was it?
**** off, was it?
So NOW you like logic, huh?
And everytime I said those things someone else showed up saying "The 5530 has better cpu".
Why do I repeat myself? Ask them. So you read my post the first time, right? But with 971258 hits so far what makes you think everyone else read it too?
And I said the same things under a different context, it wasn't about comparing both devices anymore, it was about counting the differences as additional features, which coth believes they aren't.
