I broke the clip of the earphone AD-56 adapter accidentally. Will the Nokia care guys fix this?
right now i have 7390 and it completly died should i go for the 5610 or buy sth from the n series i really like listining to music i dont have lots of phone calls average of text messeges i really dont know please i need help
to marcus: majority of us say that nokia 5610 really has a weak battery performance. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. if you think yours will last for more than 2days, YOU DON'T USE YOUR PHONE THAT MUCH.
maybe you only think your using it heavily but in reality your not!
i am a heavy texter, listens to music for about 5 hours a day and my nokia 5610 will surely drain just after a day of a fully charged phone.
i dont find it lousy nor crap that the battery life is just that. new nokia phones really do have weak batteries unlike SONY ERICSSON. my previous phone which is K800i will SURELY LAST MORE THAN 3 DAYS. maybe it has got to do with the backlight since you cant adjust the brightness of this phone. (although it has auto light sensor) but if it had one, i will really put it on the lowest level to keep increase the battery life.
i bought this phone on the 26th of december.it is a very attractive handset.it has great battery life.no problem of the slider.i wish it had symbian os.the camera is great but sometimes when u take a picture file format not supported is displayed and after a while its all okay(maybe this the first case in this set).sound quality is great but the d-pad is finger impressive.go ahead if u want to buy it but gine n73,n80,5700 a thought also.
i like this aparel, is good. i not satisfaction no wlan, for msn. best camera, best memory opcional for music. i like too to the system of radio and music player, in the face left radio, right music player. NOKIA IS VERY, VERY GOOD
if anyone is planning to buy this phone then my sincere suggestion to you is dont waste your money on this phone as there r better options available in market as n-73 or s.e k-790i as i bought this phone one month back but i am havng incoming voice prob, batt prob, and even the camera is not upto 3.2 mp level . plus this is very delicate my slider music key cracks in one month so it's all upto u
Amazing!!!! thats what i can say a handset thats fully loaded smooth design , brilliant sound quality.
I am torn between this and another fone but want to no if the 5610 is typical series 40 with no backlight adjust and no backlight time on adjust..So if anyone can tell me if the 5th edition series 40 allows briteness settings and backlight lengh time on settings it would be a great help..
I have searched in mobile review on their a200 battle against nokias series 40 5th edition to see if its mentioned plus other websites but no such look ,,thanks
At last a XpressMucis phone with dam good sound. I am amazed of the clear sound in the loudspeker. The desing is wery cool and the slide is the best ever on Xpressmusic. I am much happy with mine in red.But the cam is not the best made, the flash is wery good.
Marcus i've had my phone about a month now and i'm still only getting 3 days max out of it, even with average use.
For the months you had your phone did you let it fully discharge then fully charge and that's why it's been the best battery life?
To all who say that the battery performance is bad:
I've had my phone for a few months now, so it's had several charge cycles.
This week, I charged it overnight on Sunday and it finally ran out of charge last night. So that was Monday to Thursday - 4 full days. I'm not the heaviest of users, but during that time there was several hours of music playing and plenty of calls/texts.
So, if you are getting only one day (as I have read) then it's likely that there is something wrong.
-if you want good camera go for 6500
-if you want music features go for 5610

thank u for answering.
Very good, solid phone. I'm happy with it. Pros: Music player is flexible and works well. Sound quality with Sennheisers is excellent. Looks nice in blue. Slide mechanism is solid and smooth. Phone is actually pretty compact, only a little fatter and wider than my tiny Moto W220. Screen is gorgeous and visible in any condition. S40 software is fast and intuitive. Camera takes nice pics in most conditions. Cons (and what camera doesn't have them?!): Main buttons a little sticky. Needs to be rebooted after editing music content, or shows ghost tracks. Flimsy battery cover. Speaker volume a bit low. Vibration is weak. Battery life is, so far, only average (2 days between charges with minimal use of camera, music, and calling functions). Camera is a little slow, so u need a steady hand. Battery cover needs to be on for MicroSD card to register.
Overall: Again, solid phone, and I'm happy with it. Does everything well, with only minor quibbles. Highly recommended.
