i get my phones at Nokia Gateway Mall Cubao. so far all units I and my bros got are all genuine and class A. never been returned or exchanged due to defects (un nga lang mas expensive ng konti..) at least u get all original stuff llike charger, headsets, microSD and other inbox accessories. in general, all Nokia stores are d best places to buy
@ 2F2E aka truewords
is your words really true ? or
your just creating 'false' info ?
by the way, what unit are you using right now ?
AQccording to gsmarena samsung sound quality is little bit better than sony walkman and way better than express series. So want good music player, i recommand you to go for samsung..
i heard from a shop dealer that the panorama mode does not work properly. also that there is a problem in the IC and it hangs up regularly...is this all true..he is advising me not to buy it.
oo nga, antayin ko nlng din ang transformers edition. i hop dat version comes with 4GB microSDHC.. ayus!
yes u cn. especially f u live here in the Philippines. but it will cost u some bucks..
im confused myself..6120 were available in ghills some time..but very scarce..now, it's hard to find one but pretty soon it will be available..
i'm also considering 5700 but if i will, il get the transformer edition (black), it has an updated firmware and hopefully a higher capacity memory card included & a black headset...and hopefully again, nokia used a better joystick in that edition..:-)
i havent seen (6120) 1 yet.
thnx 4 d info as well.
but im interested in this models.
im still figuring it out
w/c 1 will i go for...
coz im impressed w/ the cpu thing.
currently im using n70 me,as we all know
its kinda slow.
5700 is a better a music phone than U600..but U600 has a better camera & video recorder..ofcors, 5700 is a smartphone so it has many advantages over U600 (like u can download softwares, themes, etc)..and it would hard for you to use your own headset if you use samsung..no adaptors are available for most of their phones except for F300, X830, & other music oriented phones..(dont know if u can use them to U600)
their display are identical..5700 has 16M colors but it's just a marketing gimik..they hav the same resultion of 240 X 320..my 2 ofcmates has U600 & nokia 5700 & the samsung display is more colorful & vibrant indoors..but under direct sunlight, nokia's display is more readable..samsung displays are one of the best in the market until now even though they dnt use 16M colors..the quality of their TFT displays are extremely high..
u forgot ur lock code ... :-0
the default lock code for many nokia phones is " 12345 " i don't know if this will really help u but give it a try ... :-)
pre, just choose which one you think has the better design..6120 is sleek & the smallest symbian outthere..while 5700 has a twisting keypad & definitely attractive..their music capabilities are virtually identical both in speaker & headset..they use the same music player & run on the very same flatform..5700 has a different music chip but it doesnt make any difference unlike the one in N91..5700 is just around P11,000.00 ($240.00) from almost P20k when it came out while 6120 should have the same tag price..me nakita knb na 6120?
6120 has HSDPA while 5700 has 3G..but dont make it a factor unless you use your celphone for interenet connections..:-)
it depends on ur needs ...
samsung u 600 is a good music phone with higher mega pixel cam & a 256 k color tft screen & the nokia 5700 xm is a good music phone plus a smart phone with 3g with a 16 million color tft screen ...
personally when checking the options between the both phones i have to agree to the fact that the 5700 xpress music offers so many great options than the u 600 ... but with the camera quality u 600 is better ...
i also read some reviews on mobile-review
eldar murtazin sucks. his opinion is not correct many times.
My own phone is not behaving that way. It could be peculiar to your phone. I once had a Nokia 3250 whose battery drains very fast and charges up very fast. In fact within 30 min, i get full charge on a completely flat battery. Others were not experiencing this.
i think u should take the phone to the nokia dealer and have it checked this is not normal ... i remember one of my old samsung phones gave this kind of problem ... like its battery level indicator keeps running even the battery is fully charged ...
I am using Nokia 5700 since last three months. The phone is genuinely good. However, my battery takes long time to charge and charging time is not consistent. Somedays it gets fully charged within 2.5 hours and one day it even took more than five hours although I start charging at when almost 25% to 35% battery is left. I use the supplied travel charger (AC 12E). Actually what I think that it may be software problem also - It may be that although the battery is fully charged the animated charging indicator doesn't stop in time and we think the battery is not fully charged.
Secondly, during use the last three four battery indicator bars comedown too fast in comparison to the first two three bars. Moreover, I talk for approximately, 20 minutes a day, play for 30 minutes, listen to music for another 30 minutes and surf for about 30-45 minutes. My battery lasts for 1.5 days maximum.
Can somebody throw some light on this as to whether there is some problem with the battery or it is normal.
Just like to add from the comment of gka3000: the 6120 has HSDPA, the 5700 doesn't have.
The 5700 has a dedicated audio chip but it's totally different from the audio chip found in the N91 w/c many reviews pointed out "the presence of the dedicated audio chip makes the N91 one unique phone." Up to now, no music phone nor digital music device can rival N91 when it comes to superb audio quality.
the nerd -
what the ... :-0 oh man i cant beleave u saw that comment ... i totally forgot it and now u reminded it back to me now that im laughing for about 10 min's again :-)) ... ya its true man very true i put that on the 5310 fourm cuz some guy called the 5310 as a tv remote so got a bit angry about it ... im glad at least some people can understand what im saying ... peace out my bro ... :-)
I have to agree with viperkid about the reviews on mobile-review.com they totaly hate on nokia phones just look at the review of nokia 6131. They dedicated a whole page disiing the screen dispite the fact that it was one of the first nokia phones to have a 16 mill QVGA screen!! well i went and bought it and i totally loved it (apart from the battery) am still using it after one year man!! And the 5700 review ...... they heavily dissed the phone! especially it's music department ingnoring other factors like the smartphone capabilities !! which GSMARENA mentioned heavily. If you want to by a Nokia phone a you go and read it's review on review.com icant guarrantee you that you will have second thoughts when you are finished!! so shair the truth viper!!
man you are real to the walkman is not that bad but it aint that good either!! remote controls (hahahahaha!!) thats funny walkman will have to step up their game and intergrate smartphone capabilities if they want to catch up with XpressMusic
ALL HAIL THE GREAT 5700 XM!!!
ummmm i really dont know buddy im looking forward to find out ... i never had to change the casing of it cuz its still not that old only few weeks old ... :-)
if i can change my casing to one of those transformer edition ones buhahahhaa ... ;-)
