Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970yes, w960 got wifi. w960 has a better camera (imaging part only). but in any other parts, this phone is way way better.
I got my 5800 on Friday. great phone. no problems yet. used all apps and no lockups or probs yet. only thing is... you don't the spare stylus, stand, cover(pouch) in the box anymore. i immediately phoned nokia and they informed me that they don't ship the phone with these anymore. also the pc cable is only the same length as the phone (very short) and horrible to work with if your pc is inside a cabinet.
no office compatible software or acrobat reader either. stunning display though, even in direct sunlight. great sound, although it battles a bit to cope with bass sounds. stylus feels a little cheap.
beeing using this phone for 3days.. works great and the respond is good as well! nice!
This phone is the best out there to convert and watch movies on. It has an excellent screen and a very good viewing angle. Music quality is quite good and the stereo speakers are powerful.
Just DONT buy it for camera, its worse than a vga camera.
Also it has lots of bugs, needs more firmware updates.
Good news is that Nokia has already released firmware version 21. Its out in limited countries for limited serial number.
After this update, im sure all the bugs will be fixed, i hope the camera quality is fixed too as its horrible.
All in all, a great hit phone from Nokia.
susanathyn, 24 Apr 2009yes, you can transfer contacts from the samsung d900 to the nokia 5800. i just did it last nig... moreThnx for wateva u'v said. Bt actually um a student dude. Saved money to buy a new multimedia phone for long time. Some of my friends using 5800 from da releaseing date. Most of them give me ngtv report when i ask them bout da 5800. Sum say, its camera sux!! Vary inactive in low light. Sum says, softwr nt dat type of strong to deliver best quality service. Sum says, many option nt working properly lyk GPS. And most of them r nw facing sum unxpected prob with their screen. Sum of them says, nokia is now on experimental mode wid touchscreen phone. Nt that type of experienced. So they advice me not to take any new model device at very 1st time. These should b taken after a particular time as they revised and the probs will be removed. Sum user says, all the prob will b solved by softwr update. Bt i think how the softwr updat remove the prob of hardwr lackings of 5800. On the same position n82 user give me quiet well report about this set.. Sum of them faced prob with speaker issues. Bt xcept that, n82 ok and smooth. 5800 attracted me by its muzic menus and Larger screen. Bt da ngtv report of user make me scared of about this device. On the same time, n82 attract me for its smooth performance and impressive camera. Bt its older model. Altho all it has wateva 5800 provide in its configuration. U may xperienced many set one after one. Bt i dnt have any option lyk that. I have to select da device with the best value of money. As i say b4, um a student n saved money for long time to buy a multimedia phone.

To all guys confused between 5800 and n82:
Camera wise the n82 is far more superior than 5800. Also n82 has ngage.
5800 has a marvelous screen and superb audio/video quality.
Go for 5800.
