nibras dewan, 16 Feb 2009 im getting this baby tommorow herd that its really goodyou won't regret it...really nice phone...haven't had any problem with my unit even though it is made in china...still working good and never experienced any problem
I havent compare two models of any phones from China and Finland together, But I dont think country will affect the quality, Nokia is a very reputed company and I think if any Chinese Plant is officially manufacturing Genuine Nokia phones, then they have to pass really strict quality checks of Nokia. So If you are buying a genuine Nokia from an authorised dealer, then U can be sure about the good quality even if it is manufactured in China.
Now a days Chinese local cellphone brands are making lots of fake handsets which looks like the genuine one. I have personally seen a "Sunny Ericsson" and a "Si-Phone" which are clones of a Walkman series and an iPhone. The si-Phone even have the apple logo behind it, but the bite in the apple is on the other way!
These fake clone-handsets have been widespread in market and thus making the image of the original Chinese sets poorer.
So if you are bying an original set from an authorised dealer, you dont have to worry about the Country.
i'm from Philippines .. and all (i think) nokia phones that are available here are those made in china.. lately, im hearing some bad reputations about china manufacturers that's why im having second thoughts on buying this phone. does "made in china" nokia phones are really have poor quality compared to those made in finland/hungary? all opinions are welcome. thanks
I'm thinking to buy a new phone. I bought the N95 on the first day it was on the market, but now I need and wants a new one. Could the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic be something? Likes the Lifeblog, so Nokia is a must..

Hi, Can anyone tell me what's new in the lattest firmware upgrade. Does the upgrade improves touch sensitivity or image quality or overall speed ?
it is made of plastic screen not so good response n the touch is not so good as compare to iphone is .......
Is it true this phone has facebook,bcos i'm looking to buy a phone with it except for a blackberry?
dont be silly. A3100 is no competitor to 5800. just another WM operated phone with poor screen quality.
I was also planning to buy 5800... but I found moto surf A3100 much better in all aspects... Moto Surf is the only competitor to this phone and if someone is planning to buy 5800 then also look out for A3100 ... its a window's 6.1 OS mobile having a superfast browser (its browsing speed is almost 2 times faster than 5800 which only provides 3.6 MBPS)... special thing is that motorola is giving a 32 GB locker on net with this phone and expandable upto 16 GB( but I heard that it can also hold a 32 GB card easily) ... dsign of this phone is also cool just like a beautyfully shaped pebble with metallic finish...
and the camera quality of this phone is also much better than expectations .......have a look .. click below
This Mobile is really Great in all the respects peoples who are still planning to buy Nokia 5800 kindly Go for it. It is full or entertainment machine in your pocket with lots and lots of space in it, Video is like you are watching LCD SONY Television, I don't have any words to explaing about it, it really Rocks and blow my mind with my figure tips no need for any stick my nail are big enough for touching the application & I enjoy a lot.
Great Job ----->>> N-O-K-I-A
