sujoy, 27 Jan 2009Y do u want to even compare N97 and 5800....N97 is lot more costly and have lot more features ... morei am not concerned about the price, but on overall performance , ease of use and UI. Maybe you could tell me more about it...
can i play flash games like texas hold'em poker on this phone?? If yes then how?
shud i stick 2 my n85 for now, or is the 5800 a worthy replacement? Is the n97 worth waiting for, or shud i just settle for one of these?
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970yes but the thing with humans is we have the brain capacity to look at something with our own eyes and make the decision to either like it or hate it. im actually buying this fone ina number of weeks, i think the specs are awesome and love the style. but im not gonna go on at someone cos they have a different oppinion. so unless you directly work with nokia and know for a fact you8ll be out of a job if people dont like this phone then stop whinging
hey.. i'm caught on fences.. n78 and 5800... one is deff cheaper than the other.. both has almost the same specs besides the touch screen.. the bottomline is, i'm a sms addict... would the frequent sliding usage cause long term damage? most of the wifi phones are all sliders!! sigh..~ n78 so far is the only choice i'm left with, but 5800 has huger screen.. so ppl help~!

i need your help, zaheed.
i have one question, i saw some videos on youtube where there are superb transition effects on the fone(the whole screen goes back, then moves out and the next screen comes in and sets on the screen).
i have turned the theme transition effects ON but all i get is the fading in/out effect and the menu effect(which work excellent by the way). are there any more settings for that or is it availaible only with the red one? i have the blue one.
Also, how do we use the COMES WITH MUSIC SERVICE.
Dear folks, can anyone tell me about third party applications.does nokia 5800 supports it.what about VOIP softwares and Smartmovies.kindly reply as i m going to for above reasons.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970well the N97 will be a proper smartphone, so hold on. The 5800 is a cheap multimedia phone. Made with cheap plastics. Plus the screen is too small with no stylus, you have a plectrum if your lucky!!! wot a load of crap. Txt input is difficult, why not wait for that plush qwerty keyboard.
This is a gimmiky phone which is trying to ride off the back of the success of the iphone, by making a phone which is affordable.
But this does not bring it into the class of the iphone and definatley not the N series.
I'm not being iphone bias, i'm a hd user, and don't neccessarily like the iphone. Yet this phone is a fraud. But will benefit alot of people
