Heres how my GPS works for my n95. I downloaded the nokia map loader onto my computer, then i downloaded the maps for north america cause i live in Canada but there are maps for all over the world!
Then i followed the instructions on my phone for voice navigated gps, there is a charge of per week, per month or year.
I needed a wi fi source to pay for my navigation.
I get my navigation thru a company called Open bit!
jazza, 22 Jan 2009hmm well if your thinking of getting this phone then ur going 2 be missing al this ... moreget it in your head that the 5800 is not a high range smartphone like the n97 will be. for a mid-range phone it is pretty good in my opinion. wait till software applications upgrade the 5800..then it will be superb.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i have the n95-3 classic..US Version. It is a superb smartphone and pricey. I am waiting for the nokia 5800 to be release in the US market (nokia USA). I heard that it is also a superb smartphone and cheaper than the n95.
It is up to you to decide base on what you need. if you can afford an n95...buy it. if not....buy the nokia 5800.
if you want a good picture quality you must arrange the settings of the camera. the flash must be always on and on night use the flash again with the night mode

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970depends on what you demand in the phone: 5800 main advantage is the bigger touch screen and cheaper price, on the other hand: n95-8gb has a better processor, better camera, has many software already on the web and it´s a decent mobile on almost every aspect, it´s thicker than 5800xm an more costy though,,,
jaun this is a redirect dont get any go for the nokia n97 when it comes out that phone is this one exxapt it on drugs bro check it out most tight phone eva they improved the touchscreen two

Hi.. Its Ahsan from Bangladesh. I want to buy 5800 but I'm afraid of the durability of this phone because in bangladesh nokia products are from China. I wanna get it which is made in Finland or hungary. Can anyone give me the suggestion or way to find it out?
Been using my blue tubey for a week now, and i still can't get enough of it. It's a very great phone. Bought the second batch, which means it was already version 11.0.008 when i bought it. Still, no freezes, no restarts, no earpiece prob, never experienced any problems at all. Seems very stable, software wise, for now. I got lucky i guess. Bought it here in Qatar, and was assembled in China.
Any questions you can ask freely..
Have a nice day.. 5800 Rocks!!
