i wana to update my firmware.i live in Bangladesh.
My firmware is v11.0.008. And custom v is v11.0.008.red.01. Type is Rm-356.i trid to update via mbl.*#0000# update version but after some time it canceld.will u can help me.

i have owned this unit almost 2 years ago. I just want to ask why i could not send any outgoing messages starting yesterday? But i can make all the calls. I think there is a program that has to be reset in my unit. Please help. Go bless.

Because the processor is very slow the video playback is not smooth. Unless Nokia replaces it with a faster processor, this cellphone is lagging behind most Android and windows phone. Because of that, no matter how many upgrades of firmwares we do, the UI will still be erratic. We are paying a cost cheaper sacrificing better performance. Aside from that, I had this cp for almost two years and it is still my best phone ever in terms of features and price tag.

Anonymous, 20 May 2011I have owned this phone since October 2009! It's starting to feel a little outdated, of course... moreit seems like everytime i download apps etc, my phone memory seems to be getting affected a little evnthough the saving is set to memory card and im quite curious if this may be one cause why eveytime im rebooting my phone, its taking longer than usual to load eveything up? do you know if there is a way to prevent the phone memory to not lessen? (ofcourse aside fromm the fact that any undeleted sms will affect it)

when i always setting my alarm clock in my 5800XM it gets suck up when the alarm tone goes i'm having dfficulties turning it off...did you also experienced this???
