i can do just about anythin your pc can do wit dis phone, from creating ms word documents, and excell documents to previewing my pdf documents and chatting with my yahoo messanger and facebook friends on the go using nimbuzz, so much more, i would say its the best phone in d market but its battery life is poor.

@Ruby you can go to your nearest "kanto" and once there, you can see a lot of phone stalls doing the "open line" service. Also, these guys can do anything you want them to do on your phone.

Dear friends!
I am from Malaysia and I am planning to purchase nokia 5800.
I have read that there are FAKE 5800 which are almost identical to original NOKIA.
BTW in my state, this model is not available in the authorised dealers stores.
It's only avaible in others stores whereby the units are known as AP products. Technically this products are claimed to be original nokia but without the stamping or levy paid to the government bodies.
So, friends what are the things that I have to do to make sure the unit is original made by Nokia?
How can I detect fake ones?

i wana to update my firmware.i live in Bangladesh.
My firmware is v11.0.008. And custom v is v11.0.008.red.01. Type is Rm-356.i trid to update via mbl.*#0000# update version but after some time it canceld.will u can help me.

i have owned this unit almost 2 years ago. I just want to ask why i could not send any outgoing messages starting yesterday? But i can make all the calls. I think there is a program that has to be reset in my unit. Please help. Go bless.

Because the processor is very slow the video playback is not smooth. Unless Nokia replaces it with a faster processor, this cellphone is lagging behind most Android and windows phone. Because of that, no matter how many upgrades of firmwares we do, the UI will still be erratic. We are paying a cost cheaper sacrificing better performance. Aside from that, I had this cp for almost two years and it is still my best phone ever in terms of features and price tag.
