I have been going back and forth on what to buy HELP.
Nokia N82 or Nokia 5800 with the Drakhorse being E63
From all accounts the N82 is an absolute MONSTER of a phone in almost every aspect. The 1 thing that makes me hesitate about the 5800 is the camera. If the pics were at least on par with the N73 I would snatch it up in a heartbeat, but I hear mixed things about the camera quality. I read a review on Symbian from a guy that had his n82 for 4 years and is not only still going strong but he said if it falters he would buy ANOTHER ONE. 3500+ pics taken and his main problem with it is that the paint started to peel. (silver) I would buy BLACK. I also Luvvvv the look of the e71 and e63 but 2mp camera kills that for me.
HELP anyone, PLEEEEEZ

above all, i love this phone..

rizwan, 16 Dec 2008This is a typical nokia phone. Unfinished and WAY to expensive. You should think with your head, but not with your as, before you talk!
If anybody knows, please let me know, is this phone available in Batam, Indonesia. If yes, please let me know the address and price. Thanks.
I was in the nokia flag ship store today 12/16/08 in nyc. i check out the phone in person and i'm feeling everything about it. the retail price is $349.00 with tax is $370.00. all the sales people in the store said they are very shock. that the 5800 price is so low for a touch screen phone like this compared to other nokia phones. I'm buying mines tommoro because right now they only have the blue color. i want and need the red one that comes in tommoro. ps don't buy from an unlock dealer becuase there going to charge u 400.00 to 700.00 i heard it'cheaper if u buy direct at nokia.com or a flag ship nokia store. oh the phones comes with a 1 year warranty and thats dope if anything happends to it. u can bring it back to the nokia flag ship store and they'll fix it or give u a new one.
i think its a great looking phone with a great spec sheet to go along with it. i'm a little bummed out that it doesnt support US 3g bands yet, but with the US spec version of the N97 on the way i cant really complain
Jim, 16 Dec 2008I have Nokia 5800 and no problems. Easy to use, good speakers, good MP3 player. Fantastic feat... moreHi Jim, mine has no cracks what so ever either. Your comment about the slight gap on the top right hand of the handset where a little light escapes & worried about dust getting in, mine also had that slight gap but all i did was give it a slight squeeze & it sealed shut again & hasn't re opened, try it & see if it closes on yours too buddy. This is just the most perfect touch mobile i've had. Little gap in casing is no big issue at all, easily fixed with a squeeze :-). Cheers Craig.

Anonymous, 16 Dec 2008Hey Antony i'm impress that you could live with alway-crash N91 up to 4 years. Oh man you can ... moreMe too, I'm still using my N91 to hear music, surf the web, mapping, games and etc. The major use of my N91 is to play music, I have a good headphone and it's sound is awesome, but I need replacement in music department, I'm an audiophile and my ears are very sensible, so I need a good music powerhouse like N91. The question is: Can the 5800 or N97 do better than N91 in music audio quality?
Have you guys tried this phone?? I'm using it.. it is the coolest phone by far... it's so easy to use.. typing is a breeze, you can use the notmal QWERT key board or the alphanumeric board. Good price!!
I have Nokia 5800 and no problems. Easy to use, good speakers, good MP3 player. Fantastic features when thinking the price. Build quality is also ok. People are talking about crack, that is not true. There is only small light leakage in upper right corner. Very usual to see similar thing in modern handsets. In some handsets there is a very small gap between covers and it does not cause any harm, the dust has so many other possibilities to go in to the phone. Yes I have seen S60 forum pictures and I think people are now over reacting in here....
