Anonymous, 16 Dec 2008Hey Antony i'm impress that you could live with alway-crash N91 up to 4 years. Oh man you can ... moreMe too, I'm still using my N91 to hear music, surf the web, mapping, games and etc. The major use of my N91 is to play music, I have a good headphone and it's sound is awesome, but I need replacement in music department, I'm an audiophile and my ears are very sensible, so I need a good music powerhouse like N91. The question is: Can the 5800 or N97 do better than N91 in music audio quality?
Have you guys tried this phone?? I'm using it.. it is the coolest phone by far... it's so easy to use.. typing is a breeze, you can use the notmal QWERT key board or the alphanumeric board. Good price!!
I have Nokia 5800 and no problems. Easy to use, good speakers, good MP3 player. Fantastic features when thinking the price. Build quality is also ok. People are talking about crack, that is not true. There is only small light leakage in upper right corner. Very usual to see similar thing in modern handsets. In some handsets there is a very small gap between covers and it does not cause any harm, the dust has so many other possibilities to go in to the phone. Yes I have seen S60 forum pictures and I think people are now over reacting in here....
When a lot of people are telling you that you're drunk usually you go to sleep... you know what i mean..
The phone CRACKS!! Is big enough for you to see? It CRACKS without dropping it. Just CRACKS!!
You got the point?
Yes, thank him for "review"... he won't give you the money back he only takes... that's very clear..
Marcus, 16 Dec 2008My partner recently visited Spain where the 5800 went on sale in early December, so bought it ... moreTo Marcus:
I must commend u for that wonderful review and i must say that u've saved me some stress about some pointless and nonsensically criticised reviews been posted by some non-nokia fans.Kudos to you !. I've been looking up to getting this phone but b/c of those criticisms,i have been double-minded in my decisions but nevertheless,i love Nokia,i love 5800 and touch screen is my next phone. I want to know how strong the phone is,do u think it will survive when it mistakenly falls to floor? And how do u think games could be played since there are no buttons or keypad?Don't you think it will be boring or what do you think? I wil be glad hearing from you.Thanks. . . .Prindorz

TING, 14 Dec 2008yes ..mine has that little crack too.. u can see the lights coming out of the crack from the e... moreHello TING, mine has that crack too, and it's now official that 5800 has that physical-built issue,as symbian-freak.com has the same complaint along with A PICture of that crack. Anyway, just out of curiosity, is your 5800 red or blue? Mine is blue, perhaps, only the blue ones have that crack because some people say they have the crack and some say they don't. I am wondering if this problem only exists in the blue-colored 5800. Guys, the owners of 5800, please, check your 5800's and post your feedbacks on this rather annoying problem. I really luv my 5800, but my heart cries in despair and frustration everytime I see that crack (which I have covered with a transparent plastic tape bcoz I am worried of the small dusts making their way into the screen. The plastic tape has really made my 5800 look battered and ugly).Helpppp please? I live in Indonesia, by the way, anyone from Indonesia?
