will the screen or its touch sensors of 5800 get damaged when put in tight jeans pockets. Because i dont like to hold the phone in a protective case or hand. Those who are using the phone please help me with this.
Prices nose dive, the hype has died down people waiting for N97 extremely better.
Screen size not as broad and viewable as N95 rest buttoms occupy. Screen plastic easily scratchable not learnt lesson from iphone which has glass since years, easily assessible with finger touch becuz they r flat that squeezed. Finger touch most convienent that stylus. Should be either not both as iphone only fingering. N97 much broader and business like, i will go for it as wait six months, sufficent fr next 3 years.Think twice befor u risk, unless you r buffet.

Anonymous, 14 Dec 2008is the touch screen scratch-proof like the iphone, is it glass or plastic, durable or fragile ?Hi,
I don't think the screen is scratch proof, but durable. It is made of of a hard double layer plastic. It isn't glass like the iPhone.
What I do suggest guys and girls is that you should buy a screen protector and put it on before you start using the provided stylus. If your using your finger, in which you'll be using your finger a lot then a stylus as the touch is very sensitive with or without the stylus, then a screen protector isn't needed, however it's always good to get one for peace of mind.. we don't marks or scratches on this beautiful baby ;-)
is the touch screen scratch-proof like the iphone, is it glass or plastic, durable or fragile ?
what material is the touch screen made of ? Is it srong or durable in the long run. Please help!
