Hey, you should know one thing, this phone's screen is better then onima where u need to apply a little bit more force. and also onima is using WINDOW! boy, window is not user friendly and laggy even the devices comes with a high CPU.. and one more thing, LG touch screen device always need to apply force.. how can it be compare to this phone. and also, this phone is only 279 euro without plans. and megapixel doesn't means better picture quailty. onima using cheap lens and sensor. what u wana talk about?
AND RMB this, this phone is only the MID RANGE FIGHTER
you are comparing with the high range device..
and if samsung lg is better, WHY THEY ARE USING NOKIA Symbian S60 OS?!?! the world largest user OS is nokia's symbian s60.. kid, wise up please.

Wong, 17 Oct 2008hmmm i'm just wondering if any of the post-ers here know if this phone has N-Gage capabilities... moreSorry dude. No N-GAGE 2.0 support for this phone. But hopefully, it can support games as good as iPhone can. See Real Football 2009 on iPhone? It's just great, although it's playability and enjoyability is a bit questionable, if not confusing.
Very good phone, but very VERY expensive in comparison to other phones
Isn't this an PDA phone? It has all features we need as a pda phone. Good work from NOKIA!
Anyone bought this phone recently? Wht's the latest price in the market now? Looks like a good phone, plan to change..
Even though I'm a fan of Nokia, It's a shame that when this phone come out, the samsung I900 OMNIA, the sonyericsson's XPERIA, LG's kc910, and HTC's TOUCH HD will be out too. Definetely Nokia should improve its efforts because all of these cells are better than Nokia 5800.
hmmm i'm just wondering if any of the post-ers here know if this phone has N-Gage capabilities..that would be awesome addition and better use of the touch screen and accelerometer
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970off course dude, n96 and 5800 adopted from iPhone (Accelerometer) but iPhone didn't.
giotuki!, 16 Oct 2008Who cares of a predecessor phone if it's already behind the follower... where do you stand?! s... moreyeah... and i think u're follow-mind type too... the biggest mobile company like nokia should have many fresh idea... not only copy..copy and copy again (although nokia can appear with better specification) like n76... hmm... let the time speaks... what the next nokia's series that adopted from apple and moto... hahahhahaaaaa.... LOL!!!
When will this phone become available in the U.S.?
By the way, this phone is a lot better than the Sony Xperia X1 and the iPhone. You get a lot more features and a more stable OS for such a great price! Nokia quality too!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970From your list, the n96 is the only phone with more functionality (extra memory, bigger camera). For the rest, they cant stand up to the 5800xm due to benefits like 35 hours of music playback, 3.2inch 16m color 640*360res screen, rich retail package, high-quality build materials used, 3.2mp camera with carl zeiss optics, vga recording at 30fps, great battery, speedy and stable OS and the really attractive and affordable price of 279 euros. The choice is obvious. Get the 5800xm.
With all these gr8 features, it makes me regret why i got my N70 when i did!
Why don't you all go learn how to grammatically write English before you post comments that have no relevance to the product your are talking about. While you're at it, try and make some sense in what you say too, cause all I read is just jibberish.
This phone seems to have all the features I have been waiting for in a Nokia, especially since it's bluetooth capabilities are not limited. I can't wait for this phone to come out. Does anyone know when it is expected to be released, and how much it will cost ?
