Hi,
I need following help on this phone-
1) Need a FREE pdf reader download which doesnt ask for lisence key. (i had dwnld from ovistore, but it asks for key)
2) Need a FREE DeivX / XVid /avi/mov player (which doesnt ask for lisence key.)
3) Need to know if any better version of music player is available anywhere? Or need following functions on music player (if supported)
a) To set a sleep timer to turn off after specified time.
b) To play all files serially from a particular folder in the memory card. (not playlist)(basically like all usb mp3 players or basic mp3 phones)
4) Need a feature which allow only send/receive messages but all calls are blocked (in/out). I tried "pager" mode but it's of no use. still the calls come & it's just another silent mode(? strange!). I am not clear abt the difference b/n "silent", "meeting", "pager" etc. all modes work same. (except "offline" turns off the network related features just as flight mode)
5) Is it possible to block all out going call & sms & only allow incoming call & sms? (need to avoid making calls/sms accidentally when my 4 yrs old daughter is playing games on phone)
I think, a smart phone should have facilitis to create these features or settings. I am not expecting too much!
Please reply if anyone knows ans to any of the questions. Thanks in advance.

One of the best phone i've ever used. Although a lot of good touch screen phones was released. And i recommend to all 5800 users to hack (cfw) your tube, to maximize the features of your phone.

please can somebody tell me how to solve mms problem. i cant send or receive mms. if mms comes, it ll flash light but nothing ll happen.

hi, i went thru these comments before buying 5800 a year ago, but didnt not find any one mention about d major draw back or defect it has. The phone screen will be unusable after a year or so. Its a manufacture defect this model has usually pops up after warranty. Kindly, google-display problems in nokia 5800. U will see the list of same. In case ur planning for a second hand set. Be very careful. As the repair cost will be same as the resale value. It hardly makes any sense.

Been using it for about 2 years now and no near future plans to let it go as it offers every thing i need. Mail for exchange, large touch screen, a handy (but no heavy specs) camera, great motion/touch based games, on the go walkman with great sound quality, GPS, wifi,,,,,, u name it.
