Well i personally think this phone isn't very good. It is slow, and symbian doesn't help very much. Nokias ovi stor is so small, and overpriced. The touch screen is actually pretty good for resistive. The music player is actually pretty good though. Thr worst thing about this phone in my opinion is the web browsing when browsing the web on its standard browser or opera mobile it crashes and exits what i was doing its just frustrating. Overall a bad phone. I'm actually upgrading to the samsung galaxy spica i5700 now that looks like a great phone for the price.

r u going to buy your phone based on other people vote?
narrow down your choices to:
1.brand eg.nokia/sony/htc
2.OS (operating system) eg. symbian/android
3.touch screen only
4.touch screen with key board
5.keyboard only
6.your usage what u want to do with it or what u want your phone to do for you (for music?,net surfing,capturing video & photos,office work)
7. whats else ya?
got the basic idea? if not ..........
just buy the most expensive one or the cheapest one therefore no need to worry on the above 6 things

Its soooo good.I bought it for 13.4K.ITs cool one.Internet access is too good.user friendly.Hifi mobile.Looks smart. But not event a single cover stays more than two weeks.Exactly same place all the covers got broked :(

[deleted post]Hey, Don't worry it is nothing to do with the processor. if the processor got heats up as others describe your phone should turn off. When you use 3G your battery is used up rapidly and hence battery gets heat up. you can test it by just removing your battery out and touching it. It is common for any smart phone and in my experience 5800 heats up less than any other phones of its age. your phone wont heat up that much if you use WiFi for the purpose. Don't worry about it, It is common.

5800 heats up cos the processor is working to its maximum limit...when u r watching youtube the processor is downloading a large file thats why it heat up..
same will happen if your playing certain type of game.
in my case when i played 1)Exclusion 2)Inclusion (dont worry both games r not very interesting but u can get it from OVI)

NOkiA, 25 Dec 2010Guys i would like to know if 5800's touch gets like 5233 touch after upgrading it to the lates... more5230 and 5800 are both resistive touch screens but according to reviews v52 firmware has a better touch sensitivity.

[deleted post]hey there! The heating problem is not a problem because it is normal, 5800 is describe like a computer because just like the computer the 5800's processor also heats up when using so that solves all the problems, 5800 heats up just like the computers too... :)))

How to turn off pin code request in nokia 5800?
I had gone thru
Settings--Phone--Phone management--security--Phone and SIM card--Pin code request
and tried to turn it off but it says not allowed...
Please help
