vareta, 04 Dec 2010my phone can't turn on or restart when my mem card is inserted...what shoul i do? has anyone ... moremy friend had such problem, he brought his phone to repair and they said it was a virus. if u want to save ur files u should go to nokia care. otherwise format it.

To all 5800 users:
Try flashing your phone to a custom firmware!
I recommend using rs08's firmware (improved version of PNHT firmware). My battery life now lasts for 3 DAYS!

sarkar, 03 Dec 2010i bought nokia 5800 some days ago, but battery backup is too low.yours is 2nd hand or new? if new .. google for 'battery saving tips for 5800'
if 2nd hand ...buy new batt.
batt on any smrtphone dont last compared to java phone...espesially u r excited with your newly bought phone...net browsing, taking videos,music etc

5800, 03 Dec 2010there's no setting like that in my music player, is there something wrong with the installation..?your song must have lyrics if u want to see an option to show/hide it in the menu.

I am user of both 5800 and 5530 but 5530XM has got good touch response and display clarity and slim look.

JohnKing, 02 Dec 2010Where is the lyrics??? I just updated my Music Player. . And there nothing. . go to music library-option-go to now playing-option-show/hide lyrics.
if you have songs with lyrics it will show lyrics otherwise not....:)

im getting tired of nokia interface they promised a lot when they released the n900 with maemo but thats for a short period , now they are releasing megoo nokia changes everything they want whenever they want and the people who brought new phones before that gets left behind mostly . they did that on the first fone i brought from nokia - it was a nokia 5700 xpressmusic , yes and in one year they have stopped everything related to the 5700 . n8 is so much good in specs but in os wise its another let down of symbian . by the way 5800 firmware which was released still got bugs in it . now in my guess nokia is the biggest selling company not because they sell good quality stuff but thats because they sell a lot of low end mid end and high end stuff . whenever people hear the name nokia they get blinded and go buys it just because of the brand name .
