I've grown really fond of this phone. It's true its not that relevant in today's time but its an okay consideration for its price. There's literally no other manufacturer that will touch this segment of the market. Your alternatives are... the Samsung Tap???

[deleted post]I also think that 5800 is not relevant in today's times but I would not put in the toilet, the better thing would be to sell it and give the money to poor people. Do you know that there are many people who do not even have a basic phone. Please 5800 is not the best but it can do it's job as a phone. Being a spoiled rich guy is just selfish.

This is a brilliant phone. When you consider the price it's not just brilliant it's simply awesome. I had it for one year now and got no problem at all except for the faulty memory card which was replaced for free. Support is good and it still gets regular updates despite being an old phone. Some users hate it because they don't know how to use it. They don't even know how to change the font and blame their ignorance and stupidity to Nokia and Symbian. But i understand those unsatisfied users. If you put a monkey inside a space shuttle, i don't think the monkey will appreciate the cockpit. But if you put a monkey in a zoo full of bananas, the monkey will be very happy.

the phone is totally lousy if u compare it to other touchscreen phones. Nokia upgraded it 5 times and before the 5 times, it totally sucked. Mine spoiled within months of purchase. It is still lagging after being repaired upteen times. Browsing the net is also difficult, the window suddenly closes without any warning. Loading takes a long time. The phone does blackout from time to time. It does not even support font changing. Dont waste ur money on this, not worth it :/
