To say the truth I was frustrated with 5800, but with c6 firmware 5800 truly rocks

Hi 2 Every1 who is using this absolutely great phone of all time.. I have a Question.. Can i updgrade the Firmware to c6 via my phone.. (OTA) or do i need to do through my PC..? Also what are the risk invovled if it is not sucessful..? Lastly, can i change it back to V51 that i am using right now..? Big thanks in advance..? 5800 Truly ROCK..!!!

Hello friends i have bought my 5800 few days ago. But i am afraid how to update my firmware. But i have read that Before i do that i need to back up my phone. I dont know what is it really means. And what it does to the phone. Can anyone help me to know what back up really does. Please reply your answers to donbillu@ymail.com. Waiting for your replies thanks.

hey i want to buy this phone but just read so many problems regarding phone crashes, touch screen not responding etc . if i buy this phone i wont be able to change it for atleast a year .so i dont want to cry over my decision after buying it . any suggestions ?

i want to use chinese language in nokia 5800. How can i? There're 6 language in my phone. (English, Francais,Deutsch,Italiano,Portugues,Espanol). But not include Chinese language ...

I use Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and don't have any problem with it expect I have seen a TV-Out but can not have access to TV. Please do help me.

I have been using mobile phone since 1990. In my opinion Nokia 5800 is the worst phone I have ever used. So guys pls DO NOT buy this phone. It will be a total messacre for your hard earned money.

there is not going to be any version 60 so forget it. Nokia does not want to give it's 5800 customers the true power this phone is capable of. So just go for c6 firmware to know what this phone is capable of.

Guys I am a noob in this section, so pleaz help me out. I have some questions-
1. Suppose i am using c6 cfw and nokia releases its 60 vesion for 5800, can i again flash it to that version directly?
2. Suppose i am using cfw c6 by pnht, can i flash it to any other cfw directly?
3. What is mod?

hi iam using this phone for the last 2 months and encountered a problem that is when the signal is gone in a low coverage area and if we move to full coverage also it will not connect to the network.if we switch off and on then it is showing full signal

you must insert the black end of the cable into 3.5 mm jack then insert the white one into the white jack which you'll find on your TV and the yellow one into the yellow jack
your phone will automatically identify the tv-out

Anonymous, 23 Sep 2010just plug in the right cable and select tv out option>> what to you mean by this?
1.Buy a nokia or any tv out cable.
2.Plug it in the phone's 3.5mm jack.
3.Phone will ask you to choose the enhancement connected.
4.select 'tv out'.
5.Connect the 3 pins of the cable to your 'video input' of television.
6.Change the settings according to your tv if nothing shows up.
