But Anyways...After tonns of questions pooling around my mind i have finally FLASED my 5800 to C6 firmware few hours ago...I cant beleive...Out standing work PNHT TEAM...Guys go on with C6 FW, Believe me you will LOVE your device more than ever...
Note to SRC Nokia 5800 on flashing with C6 firmware:
Yes, I think it would be possible to reflash with v51, because I once bricked my 5800 by changing product codes to upgrade, but unbricked by reloading the old firmware for the old product code. I think it would work for you if C6 does not work, just make sure you have the correct v51 release with your product code.
Well friends nokia india shows that 32 gb card is compatibe with 5800, is it true? Has anyone tried it? How much does a 32 gb card cost in India?
Well, to start with, I've sold my Samsung Tocco Lite to Upgrade (sort of) to Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. My reaction upon switching the phone on was, NO!! Because I was expecting it to be quicker on initial start-up. And upon browsing thru phones features, It was sloWWWWWWWW, screen needed to be tapped twice with the stylus and even when font size was set to normal or large, it did made a difference but still required a stylus as it had same interface with other symbian 60 3rd edition phones only touchscreen.
Camera- well for me colors aren't that vivid enough
Music- 4/5 for me. Crisp/Bassy sound which was good
Screen Sensitivity- I had difficulty on this as everytime stylus is needed and 2 taps just to browse on something.
Phone was too slow for its features i think..
I wish I didn't change my phone as for my previous phone which was the tocco lite, it was easy on the menu, just one slight tap with finger, very clear camera resolution even when zoomed up to the max, crisp and bassy sound on music streaming. Looks more elegant than the 5800. Easier to type a text message and browse contacts and altogether. its features.
This is just my personal reviews. I'm slightly disappointed. Well now, I've upgraded to Iphone and it will all be my experience on both phones. :)
Installed swype beta from nokia beta labs. It's awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Its so damn fast!!!!!! :)
xenon, 03 Sep 2010this phone is pricey and too old! I wish nokia would abandon this phone.Well this is the cheapest phone we can find with this feature load! Nokia won't discontinue this until another express music becomes a best seller!
