be careful of using 3rd party apps or you will lose ur precious applications..just like wat ahppen to me..anyways its hard to reinstall all of 'em..

Hi guys,I am having a weird problem with new firmware version 51.0.006 from 2,3 days while working on opera mobile browser 10,the screen fades down to white color after several minutes of use and mobile restarts,don't know why this is happening,never had that problem with previous version 50,no doubt the other improvements that are mentioned about new v51 here and there about speed improvement,frictionless kinetic scrolling,vibration enhanced and more improved touch response are well evident,but the screen fade and restarting issue is there.as i observed.
I want some features to be added in next firmware from nokia;
- New transition effects should be added,because there is only one
- Widgets support,like nokia n97,c6,n900,n8 and samsung i8910 omnia HD (which also has symbian s60v5 as nokia 5800)
- Smiley option in text messaging (everybody knows how to add smilies though,but it looks beautiful)
- Support for animated and flash swf files as wallpapers
- And if possible ovi maps should be upgraded to latest 3.04 version in the firware, because installing the self downloaded file consumes about 15mb of extra phone memory(c:) which is way to much in this 81mb internal memory smartphone.
These features are not too difficult to add for nokia,and i hope they can do it,if they can make this successful device.but we still request nokia to look forward to it.

Panky, 18 Aug 2010For your information GPS navigation is free on 5230, i m using it. & touch screen is also ... moredear friend gps is free and has included in new 5230 and 5233 nokia, i agree.
but still i will vote for nokia 5800. pls use nokia 5800 and nokia 5230 or 5233 . you will feel the diffrence

This phone was good to start with but ever since it’s been a nightmare, it will not stop breaking on me.
I am on my forth replacement but they will not provide me with a completely new phone I have to keep getting a replacement and its doing the same thing each time.
I was in the middle of downloading an album and it cut out on be with a bar code image flashing through the phone and now all my apps have disappeared I have done everything Orange company have told me but still not working and do not even want to help.
So therefore I am paying over £100 each month for a phone that doesn’t work.
