doesn't really matter to me if 5800 is bulky and so on but i really like the beauty of 5530 including the additional features of course.
actually, few of my friends here in the office have this 5800 and i don't understand why they wouldn't even care if their units are not updated. they are losing most, well it is their phones anyway.
are you from the Philippines? in trinoma this one is being sold for Php13500/installment for 6mths.
and by the way you talked about v60 or v61, these aren't available before so do you mean they are upcoming vns after v51 and might be the last update?

Is the latest firmware version available now in the Philippines or in selected countries only.I've been trying to download it thru OTA but always connection error.Pls. help.Cheers

hey people. just read on dailymobile.se that PNHT has ported the nokia C6 firmware to the 5800 & 5530 nokia so we will soon enjoy the homescreen widgets on our phone. and its also fixes the camera bug so you can take pics that look like they came from a 3.2 mp shooter!

i just bought this phone some days ago,and from what i see its a high tech phone,i prefer it to nokia97.

Using this for about a year now. The phone itself is really good. One of the best of all time. An icon in the phone industry. But the earphone is rubbish. I bought S/E earphone and stick with it. OVI navigator s/w is horrid. Install Garmin XT instead. Also software are still pathetic. Doesn't use phone's full potential. But I personally recommend this phone to anyone.

I admit the loudspeakers are really good and do throw some bass. But, you can't say that it's like a mini-woofer! Ya, it does have good stereo!!

Or else in every other aspect, 5800 is good. 5800's price is not going below 13.5k since 4 months! That means it's still in great demand. And if you are concerned about updates, then let me tell you something. The firmware is updated just to fix major bugs or to add the latest feature like k.s., new m.p. and all. Now the only thing we need is a new home screen. So, I think, there won't be any more updates besides v60. Or v61 would be max.
