When will this phone getting old? After 2 years it's till attractive as latest! I can safely say nobody can offer you all and every features of old 5800 in their products even in the year 2010. Version 50 is amazing. I don't want fancy novelty phone with divx palyer, limited phone book but Nokia 5800 0r E71. My little hope that the Nokia will take a step for 5800 default soundwave theme compatibility with new transparent contact bar type homescreen (as 5230, 5530 etc) and to realign the Music Player widget rewind button which cover and ruin the album art.

Depends on your luck. Mine was almost nine months now, drop it several times, one at more than two meters height but nothing happens to it, not even a scratch. It was having that hard case which Nokia provided. So, knock on wood, it will last and last until I get tired of it. Oh! I'm tired of it already, especially the Symbian, very boring. I just got a new Android smartphone, SE X10i, in luster white...

First of all i'm not here to bash nokia,i'm just here to tell you about what happend to my phone. The screen inside of the phone broke by itself. i use to take extra good care of the phone. it broke after 1 month and a half,REAL CHEAP! since my warranty was still valid i decided to ship the phone to nokia to fix the screen,to my displeasure they return it without doing anything! they said it was physical dammaged but i know i didn't do anything to the phone,like i said before : the phone is real cheap!!! i had plenty of nokias before and i really love them to death espacially the N73. it was a amazing phone,last me 2 years and i was abusing it,even dropped a few time on the ground and nothing major happend. but i can't say the same about the 5800,cheap ass phone and nokia customer service is BULLSH*T. it dissapoint me cause i use to love and respect nokia but after all this i will not look a nokia (the company and their products)the same. you pay a lot of hard earn money for a product that brakes after 1 month and a half,no refund,exchange or any kind of service,trust me you would feel pissed off. so if you wanna buy this phone or trust nokia,BEWARE! maybe i got the bad one from a good batch...

I'm loving my time with the nokia 5800. And i'm planning to go for the nokia C7 next coz it'll be cheaper than the n8. Hope it'll have great audio quality like the 5800!!!!!! :-))))))
