there is only 1 inbuilt theme in nokia 5800. Camera 3.2 mp quality is not at all good at night. really waste, go for any sony ericsson mobile.

            Hye,

jus upgraded to v50 (not hacked, coz something is wrong wif it) but other than that, the new version is very stable compared to v40. the touch response is way better now. and it has kinetic scrolling in every menu and also in the browser. :-) that is the best part. n now, its world cup fever, they've created widgets and its just superb, u get live updates and live scores. even though its old, tis phone is n will be a legend. the company's first touch-screen smartphone. i'm liking it everybit n the features are jus too good, except for the camera (night shots)
all in all, for the price and the wuality, i would give this phone a 9.8 rating. :-)

why did you use spb mobile shell ? that's just make your phone work slower. use orange tsunami for home screen is much better. spb shell use much of phone RAM and make it work slow and hangs. i haven't any problem yet with my fw50.

this is an old phone , but look.. no one better than this smart phone on it's price range.

you shouldn't hack your phone if you're not using application such 'myphone' or any other that need to open c:/private. just make certificate for your phone at opda. it work for 'certificate error' etc.

              play share and touch :D
              *sorry for my bad english

Sure this phone is old. Yet, it has many good features which you simply cannot get in a newer phone for such a low price...
It doesn't look too bad either, if you look closely, the new iphone 4 from the front looks a lot like the 5800.

nokia 5800xm is too old now..it was out in 2008 November..
i think new buyers now should avoid searching this phone as the design is now not that catchy.
c6,x6(8GB) are the new and better upcoming models..
                          .
but those who are having it will cherish this model as they are attached to this phone.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2010hi guys with hacked phone, is the phone okay now or better performance? thanks for your replyHacking has nothing to do with performance, it just allows you to install cracked apps.
To increase performance you should update firmware.

Evon, 14 Jun 2010hello :) i've been comparing Nokia X6 to Nokia 5800 and i would like to ask some questions on... moreI assume you are asking about the 5800 so here are my opinions.
1.may i know how long/ how many days can a fully charge battery last you to?
                                - My 5800 easily last upto 3 days with normal phone-like usage. However if you watch videos and browse a lot then you need to charge daily like all smartphones.

2.will the picture taken have huge color difference to the actual object color?
-In daylight the camera is very good and colors are accurate.

3.if u have been listening to the music for around 3 hours everyday, does the speaker spoil easily?
                                - No nothing happens. Also the 5800 has the best external music quality I have ever heard from a mobile phone.

4.is the speaker clear, without radio-like interuptions in the background?
                                - Like I said Music is perfect loud and clear both with earphones or inbuilt speakers.

5.is the touch screen laggy? and i don't leave my nails long so is it very responsive?
                                - The screen of old firmwares used to be laggy. However once you update the firmware, there is absolutely no problem.

6.does it hang most of the time in the programs?
                                - The phone almost never hangs, even if an app gets stuck, the phone remains active and you can close the faulty app using the task manager. I can run about 15 app simultaneously without any problem and when the RAM fills up, the phone automatically shuts down unwanted programs to prevent crashing.
