backup your mem card then reformat it, that shud do. i encountered the same problem aftr installing some apps on my phone... just b careful nextime on installing... Cheers!

hello is there anybody know how to have a simplified chinese text input to 5800?i cant read and write chinese characters on my phone..by the way i read someone need office there is a apps than can be downloaded to read office file..

I updated my 5800 to v50 yesterday through nokia care center, the update is really amazing and now my phone works still faster also it has pre installed open office in the new software update.

AZM, 07 May 2010Hi everybody, I want to update to v50. however the NSU keep on saying new version of nsu avai... moretry updating your phone with nokia software updater. I have tried using ovi suite but its not that good for this. Full qwerty is alphanumeric in landscape

[deleted post]Sony ericsson x1 is said to lag a lot, hardware is also very old. 5800 has a good os, doesnt lag @all after v50,has better user friendliness and value for money!!! Hope this heps u to decide: )

[deleted post]5800 is very better, you can multi task like opening music player, browser, messages, apps @the same time, in samsung jet, you cant do that, it doesnt hav much apps too coz it's not a smartphone. Also 5800 has a bigger display!!!! Hope this helps

[deleted post]Honestly even though im nokia fan but for this price i more prefer you to buy samsung jet.everything is better dan 5800,n97,x6 but the only disadvantage in samsung jet is it doesnt has search track in mp3 same like v5,trust me just buy it,you wont regret

Hi everybody,
I want to update to v50. however the NSU keep on saying new version of nsu available n then it do not stop downloading n i had to cancelled it.
The local NOKIA website says v50 avaiable
my5800 says "no updates available OTA" but the OVI suite says update available.
Has any one done the update using OVI suit? is it successful?
Is it true that the full qwerty keyboard is not available after V50 update?

yami, 06 May 2010does 5800xm support kinetic scrolling? Yes, It does have Kinetic Scrolling, also this is one of the most hack/mofication friendly device, a lot of software for it .

yup i agree 5800 would be a better option for ashima. the 5mp camera in yari maybe good but i'm satisfied with 3.5mp camera on 5800. took lots of great video n pics during my last vacation. it 3.5mm phone jack give me options to use any type of headpphone or earphone. 5800 wifi gives the user of 5800 free internet browsing. Cheers to 5800 ownersss
