nokia indeed is the best comp out there but makes boring handsets the xpress music is nothing near SE w995 walkman series and more advanced than the plastic toy shaped 5800.
the best in nokia will always be

The is an option for TV-out option and u do not hv to do anything, once u connect it to ur phone, u choose teh tv-out and jus plug the 3rca cables to ur tv. i'm using it n it works, :-)

Yes, this phone can be used to open pdf and also use to view n edit office documents on ur phone. the application name is quickoffice. download it and u can view it.

well, i really do not own an iphone, so i can't say much about it. but i tink 5800 is way way better than iphone in the music dept as it is stereo speakers and its an xpressmusic phone. secondly, it has a proper 3.5mm jack so u can plug any headphones that u like n listen it on ur 5800. iphone claims it has 3.5mm jack for headphones but u cant really use normal headphones.
about video, i can say that 5800 does do fairly well with iphone, as it uses Carl Zeiss lens and it has built-in LED flash. i do hv to agree that shots in the low light for 5800 are not impressive, nokia needs to roll out a firmware to correct this. overall, Nokia 5800 can do wateva an iphone can do u in much much lower price (1/3 of the price), except that they hv more apps. :-) so ur paying a hefty premium for apps? and izit worth it?

well, u can use the sync from the phone menu in 5800, but i dun think so there's a sync icon on ur old phone. so maybe, u can use the pc suite, cpnnect ur old phone, click on contacts, copy ll the contacts and save it on the pc, disconnect ur old phone, and now, connect ur new phone, and copy all the contacts from ur pc and paste it on the contacts tab. this should do the trick.

... moreIf you are a music/movie lover who surfs the web frequently and is into multi tasking the 5800 is the ideal phone. Buy it, you won't rebret!!!!
It's awsome, don't care about the hateful comments coz they buy the 5800 with some other phone in their mind, thats why!!!

Well, there's an icon on the applications menu. what firmware ru using? or maybe u jus go n browse to ovi.com in ur mobile, and it'll download the required software. it'll automatically download n install it. and there ur, ur done and u can easily install any apps in that particular mobile. :-)

I mean the 5800 has a ded... moreu knw dude why i m eager to get C6 becoz after falling my 5800 pcb is bend due to ths my bt,radio n gps doesnt work n to get new pcb board its 2expenise its jst similar to get new 5800 so i cant buy it i aint working man i m jst student so i think c6 is only phone wich will be nt so expensive. but dont wrry as soon it will release we all get 2 knw about hardware n graphic qality of c6 also..

So the price of any high end mobile would drop within a couple of months to make way for new, high end, expensive mobiles. Also nokia 5800 was a mid range mobile from the very beginning(though it's specs were similar to that of high end mobiles!!), that's why people love it very much!!! You should have gone for something like the N 97 or the N900 had you wanted a high end mobile!!! Be realistic dude, the 5800 ruuulllzzzzz!!!!!!!!! :))
