Frnz i hav some doubts on wi-fi....
As my laptop is not wi-fi enabled shall i use 5800 as a pc modem in wifi hotspots....i'm frm uk and frnz please help me out...tnx

Rehmat, 17 Apr 2010Hi guyz pls tell me that i am thinking to buy a nokia set so i decided to buy either E71 or No... morei own these two phone and there is no doubt that e71 is better than 5800 in overall u should just go ahead for nokia e71,e71 have all the spec and with the qwerty keypad it is better for daily usage(the qwerty keypad of e71 is so amazing,you must try it).but if you are not messaging or typing, 5800 is oso a good choice due to the market price now is very cheap but i will recommend you to go for samsung if you really wants a touchscreen phone,the price of samsung touchscreen phone is very affordable and they have more choices with same cool spec and oso a cooller outlook compare to the cheap plasic made 5800.

regret of having this phone.baught it when it is 1st launch with 400usd and the price is dropping tremendously in months and now the new one is only cost 250usd.dunoe whether i should sel it with a very cheap price or juz keep it in my drawer and wait for it to become an antique.i swear i wont buy another touch screen phone from nokia anymore because it is so unconvinient and there is very limited application for this phone.baught it to be an high end phone and now it is just a cheap plastic rubbish.

I recently bought Nokia 5800.It's a good phone except picture quality which is poor.However it's a good choice when comparing price of other models with almost same feathers.

I installed xplore on 5800 and 5230 (same version) and checked device info it showed 434Mhz on 5230 and 196mhz on 5800. Why

Its the best phone in its price segment. Awesome features, cool looks, nice music experience still more when stereo widening is turned on. Careful software downloads and the phone is absolutely trouble free. Try comparing with higher priced phone and see for yourself.Trust me i have been using it and updating its software. Ask me if u have any problem .A MUST BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should have a ... moreThere is Garmin XT for 5800 .. u can get it off www.ppcwarez.org ..it will take a bit of searching .. i think it is better if u type "ppcwarez garmin xt for 5800" in google. they have all the maps there & all are unlocked. The process for installation is also included. I stay in the middle east & i just updated the maps to the 2011 version which is quite detailed. I also have europe, africa, pakistan & india maps which work wonders. hope that helps.
