I dun think nokia will stop producing this wonderful phone, coz its the so-called best selling phone for them, and the demand for this phone is still there, even after 1.5 yrs. and secondly, nokia will be releasing an updates so u can c that they wun be stoppin anytime soon. they're still developing firmwares and as well as apps for s60v5.
so in my opinion, nokia 5800 will still be in the market, for some time, until some other model takes over. :-)
Hai neo do u know where can i get the farm friendz full version game i downloaded lite version from ovi store but i want full version
Thanks in advance.
Anonymous, 13 Apr 2010Guys and experienced users of this phone and other Nokia touchscreen flagships, please help me... more5800 is much much better than any one. i know that coz i am using 5800. its good.
i love this phone. it suits my personality. the applications are ok. easy to download and upgrade to the newest version plus free downloads via OVA. great music quality, long battery life, not too touch sensitive screen (less errors while texting using your fingers)lots of compatible downloadable games and applications. easy to use, ofcourse, it's Nokia...damn, i hate nokia phones because they depreciate very fast but this phone is just awesome. i give it 9/10...
bye bye 5800-good phone for the price but nothing special too slow and take ages for nokia to fix bugs
Now is time to buy a beast...
HTC DESIRE...best phone ever made..
Sameer, 13 Apr 2010Guys and experienced users of this phone and other Nokia touchscreen flagships, please help me... moreHey i only had the phone (5800) for a short time as it was stolen but if you are looking for one with a good camera look away. The camera is bad on both and is really the only down side to both phones. The 5530 i have never used myself but have had it in my hands. So i cant tell you about the features and such, However the back cover is a little loose on the 5530 aand you have to slot a little paper inside to get rid of it. Again i dont know about features on it. The touch screen on the 5800 is good and i would not worry about it being older. I would say if you can afford the 5800 go for it, But i would recomend looking at what you want and asking in store as to which one provides it better.
Hope i have helped a little if not then sorry for wasting your time. Hope it all goes well for you

Guys and experienced users of this phone and other Nokia touchscreen flagships, please help me out. I am about to buy a touchscreen phone and my budget is 10 to 13K. I found that 5530 and 5800 are fit in this budget but I couldn't decide finally which one to buy.
I have few doubts about 5800. As it is comparatively old in market and Nokia's early touchscreen, I feel it might not be as much good as new devices like 5530. Correct me if I am wrong. I want to know how much the difference is in the touch screen quality of both these phones. Also as I read in reviews here, 5530 and new symbian touchscreen phones have more polished and enhance UI than 5800 though 5800 is pushed with similar firmware upgrade recently. Is this difference that much noticeable, I mean does 5800's user interface looks dull compared to 5530 or is difference really negligible?
Also I want to know difference in between music, camera and display quality of both this phones if any.
I won't bothers about lack of 3G in 5530. What I want is good camera (3.15 MP at least), better touch sensitivity and user interface. Please help me to choose my device on this points and clear my doubts. I regret I am inexperienced to Nokia's touch phones. Help me.
Regards.

annie, 13 Apr 2010hi , does anyone know what it could be when the hanset freezes up while leaving a application... moreHi Annie, you said your messages were stored in the memory card right?. When you removed the battery, the phone must have activated it's default message saving memory, that is the phone memory. I think that's why you can't see your messages. Go to options, settings, other and chenge the saving memory to memory card. That should work. As for the coupon thing, i'm sorry i don't know. :-))
