u can reset it by pressing the green button, red button and the camera button all at once while starting up ur phone. all ur phone memory will be lost by doing so.

well, the new packaging of nokia 5800 doesnt come with the tv out cable, reason: its more cheaper and they want to increase d sales of 5800 navigation edition. so u can try buying the cable outside, or u can use normal stereo to 3RCA cable. i did that and it works, but the only tweak i did was put the red rca into the tv in instead of speakers. thats it. n it works marvelously. :-)

hi......!
i hv buyed this phone on november(2009).
on first my mobile will get hang and switch off button will not work i hv to remove battery and then switch on.
once my mobile not started i hv given in nokia customer care they updated the NEW VERSION then my mobile excellent now.no hanging no switch off.
internet browsing is super in this phone.sound,video clarity excellent.camera and video also nice.
my frnds also buyed this phone by seeing me.

5800xm is one of the best phone that nokia ever made..it give me everything i need..big screen, excelent sound quality,browsing and downloading can be done with ease and really fast, videocall working smooth..the gps and map are worked too (i haven't use it very often but i found it worked ) about the hanging problem...well it happen to me once or twice on my 1st month of usage but now it's been 7month and everything is fine..maybe it's because i just installed program which i really need and backup or erase the data/docs which is no longer use..16gb (the memory card i use) is more than enough for me. 3mp camera result is average but the video cam is pretty good the design is nice and simple, and about the OS, i just want to say symbian is one of the best mobile OS ever so they will not stop improve and evolute..and for the iphone user who say that people buy nokia coz they can't afford to buy iphone.hey....I can buy an iphone even the newest iphone 3gs but why i must spent more money if this this cell already gives me anything i need. Proud to have this Rockstar with me.

Parth, 30 Mar 2010Hey I asked about the TV-out thing in four shops including Nokia priority dealer, they are tel... morehi!i am from sangli!! i inquired about this phone in kolhapur!!they say that they have this phone available with TV-OUT function!!they also told me that TV-OUT function was removed by NOKIA before 6 months due to unavailability of H/W!but now this phone comes with TV-OUT funcion!!I am going to buy this phone tomorrow and i am very excited guys!!hope this will help you!

I have some Questions.
1)I don't know about GPS. I am using 'idea' as Service provider. So when I am connecting Internet it is asking to connect Idea Network (it seems a Packet data Connection) and data transfer is too expensive.
How to Connect to Internet using GPS.
2) what is GPRS and how to connect to Internet using GPRS?
Can You please let me know these. I am very newbie to use Internet on mobile, i just bought this mobile 7 days ago.

just faced a prob last nite on my fone...the vibration mode was workin fine until last nite..it works fine on genral mode howevr wen i switch it to silent mode the it only vibrates once wen i receive text and it use to be twice earlier on..i went to nokia are center..the guy said upgrade the software to V40..advised him that have heard the software is nt has bugs and problem...so m confused bcoz if i upgrade to V40 and the rumors are true my fone will be jacked...so if any1 knows abt this can you please help me....

had this mobile for 1 year and had hell of a problems with it and the worst part was that even though nokia claims tha camera to be 3.2 mp it is worse than a vga one

Hello, i just want to know 2 things.
1. Does the nokia x6 have better audio/video playback quality than the 5800???
2. Which is cheaper,the nokia n900 or the nokia x6???

I have had this pohone for about 10 Months and I think this is by far the best phone except for the problem with Map which i have never used because it doesn't work
