frnds, today i sold out my samsung superb for buying new nokia 5800!!but while surfing i came to know that new 5800 don't have tv out function!so i am now confused because some people say that tv out function was unavailable only to nov-09 batch due to shortage of h/w!!plz help to find out about it!!thx!

ganze, 28 Mar 2010when i connect my old n82 tv output wire in 5800 it ntg happen even it show tvout connected bu... moreOops! If "tv out not supported" sticker is there in your box, how do you expect it to work?. Sorry friend, i was telling about box pieces without that Note. (I took care while buying). those pieces (not supporting tv out due to hardware unavailability, as per nokia statement) came from Oct to Dec09 it seems.
Also, it doesnt work with any normal cable i think. I tried with many other cables. though it made some noice & audio was heard video didnt come. But only when i used my friend's nokia 5800 tv cable then i got it working. I'm yet to buy the cable for myself.

its a excellent mobile.......it has great features.....but i have heard that there are many problems with its touchscreen.....like it works normally for some hours but its touchscreen stops working after some hours...u have to switch it off ad again switch it on.......
and can u guys plzzz help me out with which mobile should i buy.....samsung corby pro or nokia 5800...

Ones, 29 Mar 2010What do i do?my phone keeps all the time showing that the phone book is full even if i remove ... moreIf its a 32k simcard (which we using in INDIA) we can store upto 250 contacts since your sim card is full you need to perform the followin settings.
Click on contacts in main scree and then Options->Settings-> there you change the default saving memory to phoe memory. you will never face this problem again.

I am sure Nokia has taken care of most of the bugs in the recent patch available... i recently updated my firmware in Nokia priority service center to get the kinetic slide and some of the features that are matching iphone

guys, currently i'm considering between htc touch2 and nokia 5800xm. because those are in the same price range about US$250 in indonesia. and i have compare their features side by side. and i made conclusion as:
*) i'd like to buy touch2 over the 5800xm, because its threaded sms, and compact size that would fit in my pocket.
*) on the other side, i'd prefer 5800xm rather than touch2 because of its screen resolution.
so what should i choose?

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2010can we open word documents with this model? wat abt pdf files? can we edit the file as well ?Well, you can install quick office to open word and excel files, and they will be editable.
You are install Adobe PDF Reader to read the pdf files.
