sandeep, 27 Mar 2010Nokia5800 is mind blowing and magnificient.my question is im able to copy the audio songs and... morethe no. of formats of video files your nokia 5800 can play is limited.in some cases the resolution also contributes to this factor.if you convert you videos to the format which your nokia 5800 can play im absolutely sure they will play just fine!

klesk85, 27 Mar 2010nope, FM transmitter is not available in 5800. Maybe in N96 or N86 has it?n96 doesn't has fm transmitter also

1. the name of a person calling at my number is not displayed o... moreThe problem is taht mistakenly you have entered two names foe same contact.
To fix it you have go to search and type the number and when you find the entry delete one contact.
Ano ther solution might be taht you have turned'show caller ID ' off this can be corrected by goin to contacts and then settings.

ALi, 26 Mar 2010even wid d new firmware.. do u experience any hanging issues? shud i go for dis or d E71?Nokia5800 is mind blowing and magnificient.my question is im able to copy the audio songs and listen but not able to view the video files which are copied from Internet or PC.Plz give me the solution for this.

i hav a prob with my phone.
1. the name of a person calling at my number is not displayed only the number is displayed. the name is displayed in dialled calls and missed calls
2. the messages in my inbox suddenly got deleted when they were about 1500. few of them were recovered automatically but not all of them.
any body who hav solutions to my questions

guys ive been using this phone for almost five month now..before that ive doubt to buy this phone,bcause so many bad review for this phone,but after ive bought it,ive no regret,im happy with this phone..for me its still great phone , even sometime it have some bugs.(every smartphone from every brand,gonna have some bugs!!thats why they keep upgrading the firmware version )..dont compare it whit iphone,,bcause htey from different brand..for me nokia is still one of the best brand & more user friendly,than the other brand.
-the camera is great whne you use it on outdoor,but medium when indoor.
-the sounds great & loud...just intall lcg jukebox for more great sounds.
-the touch sensitivity is works fine for me...
-for browsing i use opera mini,,,& have no problem..for the speed,its depend from gsm provider you are using in your country.
-the gps works fine in my country....
-wifi conection works great.
heres some tips from my experience,,for your nokia 5800xm runs good...
1.back up your contacts via nokia pc suite..
2.format your memory card
3.upgrade your phone to firmware 4
4.after that....format your memory card again.
5.hard reset your phone..by pressing & hold the green,red & camera button while your phone restarting...until the nokia logo appear than u can release it.
then your phone gonna be more fresh than before...
dont insatll to much unnecessary programs & games..its make more bugs & lack for your phone....

Wel its the end of march and no sight o firmware updates, m runnin 4.0, but it still needs more work in terms of software and looks, hope the n97 homescreen comes in this phone and hope they make the homescreen tilt too................
