Hi,
I need a help.Generally when you call any customer care(airtel,nokia,etc) and all banks, u have a IVR answering ur call.Where in you are required to enter number(options like 1-english,2-other language , 3-product support,0-speaking to customer care,etc).
I'm not able to do this with nokia 5800 xpress.When the call is active , u get a option to 'open dialler' , but dialling number doesnot help in this case.
when u slect the option in the dialler adn click on call,it considers this as a second call.
Plzz help on this.

Read carefuly frndz m giving u this view after using alo... moreknow what, 5800 is very much fair enough for its price. if you value your money and you want something you could use in so many ways go for 5800. one of the reasons why 5800 is sticking with it's recent OS is third party application. there are tons of free applications for your 5800 from which you can enjoy your phone best. just wait and see, one day you wake up knowing nokia has adopted windows to its OS. heard the news yet? nokia will not just dump one of its best selling phones. music, photo, 3G, agps, WIFI, functionality and usefullness + big memory and enjoyable features and style on its not so expensive price. wake up man!

beast, 24 Feb 2010my mobile is neither installing themes nor uninstalling after i had updated new software it sh... morethere must be some uninstalled apps in ur memory card, which some times does not reinstall after formatting of phone memory..
do a hard reset of phone memory, and goto settings>app manager>installation files> select either install or uninstall for previously installed apps in memory card before upgrade..

mango, 24 Feb 2010thanx for the reply pal, i am aware of the RAM but the thing is none of the apps were running ... morewhile in main menu, press options>organise>remove to uninstall any unwanted application/themes. 80 applications is too much! Keep only those apps which u use frequently. May be ur app manager will start functioning after u reduce number of installed apps...

Well yet another nokia update and yet another fault, this time the gps seems to think my location is miles from where i ever am.
As i have said, when it works well it is fantastic, but when it has its hiccups it is a pain in the @r53 of a phone.

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2010Apart from the phone memory and the card memory there is another memory for a mobile phone whi... morethanx for the reply pal, i am aware of the RAM but the thing is none of the apps were running in the background @ that time. :( of course the kaspersky real time protection was on and that's about it. And that message appears only when you view it in grid view. In list view it appears all right. And i'm still unable to open my application manager:(. Anyway the 5800 is a nice mobile and once again, thanks for replying. :)
