only competitor to dis may be samsung i5700 but it doesnt have free navigation.....SO NOKIA CHEERS......
some say that this phone is not good. but there is no problem at all. it has all the features it is having the features of a 30000 rupee mobile. how much features should nokia provide to a 13000re mobile. its price is less because it has got 3mp cam. and not because it is not good. just see other phones a phone with less cam have less price even htc. it has most of the features of n97 which is a costly mobile. don't think to buy this phone. just buy if you like it it is worth for 13000
guys just llove your phone. its a good phone. i had nokia 6300. i used very much its battery life was reduced to 6 hours with continuous browsing.but i don't care just recharge and use again. it hangs many time. i don't care for that also just remove battery and switch on. then what's problem with 5800. iit doesnot hang only if it hang just remove batt. and turn on what will you loose just 30 secs thats all. and battery life is good though i use it very much. then why some people comment badly on this phone? i didn't understand i still use that my old6300 though is has many problem. then why should we hate this special phone just for 1 or 2 problems

LISTEN PLEASE!!! its for your own good that if you buy this phone than it is compulsory that you need to buy a very good hard perfomance POUCH! because if you accidently throw it from your hand then the SCREEN (LCD) will die for ever... now dont you guys say that no one Warned you...
Well I have been using this phone for two weeks and i must say its a awesome gadget (only if u know how to use it!, else keep complaining!). Symbian users can know true potentials of this phone. Many useful applications out there.
Version 40.005 is recommended and i dont think its buggy, just hard reset (*#7370#) BEFORE and AFTER upgrade.
Camera pic quality during night can be improved with "night mode" and "flash on"
The ONLY annoying thing i found was OVI maps and other native nokia applications installs directly into phone memory, wiping out a huge 30mb.
Superb phone, been using it for a year, and no hassle watsoeva, and the best part, it has so many apps..;-) nokai 5800 rocks! it really does, recommend anyone to but this phone! thanx nokia for making such a wonderful phone.
thax all of u for positive comments 4 this phone. i have been reading this opinion forum for last one week and found that most of the guys found this phone a worth buy. i m going to buy now.
